I'm fairly certain he, Shai Gilgeous Alexander, and Quinndary Weatherspoon were all part of a high school drama club named Tequila Mockingbird.

I saw an article where Lebron James said he is going to be great, Anthony Davis saying kind words, Lakers organization saying he is going to do big things...... but I mean this Is LA, and of course your vets are gonna pump up the hell out of their young guys talents. Is the card spike prices all do due just these compliments made toward him? I’ll see 10 card optic lots for $150 everywhere. Or is this just the new “craze” dump guy? This one intrigues me

Seems wayyyyy too much like an investment on the sellers ends who hoarded this guy to have all these 20 card optic lots all over eBay , and not very likely to be in the odds of good investment turnaround for the buyer. Didn’t this happen with that white guy in philly a few years ago? Korkmaz? Stuff went crazy for

This guy having Lebron go to bat for him *may* just be enough to keep his prices somewhat elevated, until he either actually gets minutes and isn’t worth the money, or the lesser likely, gets minutes and it’s realized he’s worth the money, and more

Kawhi was asking Wes Matthews about him during the game, so he may have left an impression. Vogel seems to like the kid a lot too. Doesn't justify prices, but I bought a bunch of THT on the 9th, so I'm not complaining.

Saw the hype from the Lakers camp (Twitter is great for that), and figured he'd get a bunch of minutes in preseason, so it was purely speculative. COMC makes it easy to buy a bunch at once, so I bought around 92 cards that night (mostly Optic/Fanatics and lower-end, but a couple autos as well). Plus, he's in the Hoops Premium Stock sets, so I have 22 more there. Probably a small position compared to some.

I cashed out on this guy in the bubble so it's not a huge surprise to me he is selling well again. Probably won't get a ton of playing time this year, but will be interesting to watch.

Happy I sold a silver Holo for $70 yesterday. Hope buyer does well on it, but I’m taking the money and running. Was rather surprised that the card had over 400 views and 16 watchers in the little over 5 hours it was listed. It’s crazy out there I guess
