Highly unlikely, but “aim high” right?

The PSA 10 at $700 isn’t going to help, but always aim high

I didn't look to see what the asking price is, but whatever it is, we'll think it's shockingly cheap when we look back in 5 years.

Pajama party! Bought this from a guy who pulled it in a group break I was in this week. People talk smack on Panini and for good reason but this is a gorgeous card

I’ve resisted asking this question for a long time, but I can’t hold my tongue longer: Why is everyone so into the Panini cards?? (Pardon me: the pajama party.)

This seems to be very much a Soto-specific phenomenon.

When you don’t have 50+ Topps cards to choose from this is what happens.

Because of the boom in sports cards we’ve seen in 2020, Panini cards have really risen in price. They are coming out of the trash can because of the value attached with them.

They have some beautiful shiny cards and I can get some nice low numbered RCs of his for peanuts compared to the Topps equivalent. Prices have been steadily rising this year though, the secret is out.

I would love to have a 2011 Panini Trout but missed that boat. Not missing Juannie's pajama boat haha

Yes, that’s a good point as well.

It also helps that Panini chose excellent photos of Soto in 2018 Chronicles for their Optic, Prizm, and Select brands so it hides the missing logos well. Compare those photos with his Topps Pro Debut card or some bowmans.

Wow, didn’t even think of that, but you’re right. It is a great photo and does hide the logo well
