That's a big jump from some retailers slashing box prices to the $400s upon release. Even the nearby LCS which overprices nearly everything had them initially at $500. Just shows that these premium products can be very hard to predict.

I hope they don’t increase the prices on this product next year. Relative to other releases the 500 a box wasn’t bad considering the value.

I can see the base cards and parallels holding on to good values, especially if Panini makes this an annual release (Panini One in football has had 2 years now).

A couple of Zion base RCs/99 sold last night and a few more are up on eBay, people are catching on to that card and the dunking image and snatching it up..the Lebrons and Lukas that sold obviously have been strong as well.

A price hike is virtually guaranteed. You're not going to see sellers hedging their bets with $500 boxes again.

Definitely crazy but it's your money!

These were available for $3k a case a couple weeks ago.

I don't think they were preorders and there was a sign up now $1000. A lot of big spenders on their Instagram including a Kardashian apparently.

what is the consensus on breaking the seal and getting those cards graded? looks like a zion /99 got cracked and graded a 9.5, which sold for $2400 while the encased versions are selling for around $2000.

looking at the numbers it appears buyers are willing to pay a premium for graded which surprises me as I figured the uncirculated route would be the most desirable. just curious what others think

I prefer mine cracked and graded. It's just a one-touch with a dopey sticker.

I’ll probably crack and grade mine and I never grade.

The magnetics are scuffed anyway.

After some advice please. I have a One and One card that has, what looks like, a mark, it’s hard to tell if the mark is on the card, a bit of dust that won’t move or maybe just a mark on the inside of the one touch. The card was pulled straight out of the box like this. Can I carefully cut the seal at the top of the one touch, open the one touch and check? Or, if it is a mark on the card am I stuck with it if I cut the seal?
