when 2019 Topps Chrome Sapphire was released, it was open to all via the topps.com website

amazingly, it sold out in Seven (7) Minutes

i was not able to get through the checkout process, which is ok, as it happened ot lots of people (and continues to this day)

Matt has (at least) three SEALED CASES, not boxes, CASES which he has spoken about here on the message boards

Topps has to take care of their Whales, i get that.

is it easier for Matt to sell these P2020's at a slight loss, to remain in Topss' good favor when it comes to the other stuff?

sure seems so. if you (collective you, reading this) are fine with it (and many of you are) so be it.

But this whole "im doing it for the good of the people" stuff is just.... out there

I do NOT have 3 sealed cases of 2019 Topps Chrome Sapphire. I NEVER HAD 3 sealed cases of Topps Chrome Sapphire.

7 minutes was more than enough time to buy 2 sealed cases, (several other people bought at least 2 in that time frame), and my wife was trying for a third, (I was on the road that day for business), before it sold out in the middle of her try. She would have kept buying up to 10 or more cases worth if the supply would have been there without the demand.

Again, you are absolutely, but not surprisingly, wrong.

I've mentioned this before, but he has been an interesting case for me. I dislike his art outside of the project (view him a as poor man's anything you want to compare him to in terms of subject matter, technique, and/or style which we have discussed on the board previously). But I really love what he has done with the subject matter of this set. I think he has elevated the cards as much as the cards have elevated him (at least for me personally).

Well, you should be ashamed. Making false claims like that with negative intent is shameful for someone that SHOULD know better. If you have no shame, then you simply don't know better. For that, I'd feel sorry for you.

The difference of me still having them or not means I'm not a quick flip guy. They are the true culprits of us not being able to get what we want on release day at MSRP.

I buy all Soccer NOW cards, but I couldn't get a single box of yesterday's Topps soccer release. I tried, but ended up with exactly zero. That's been about par for the course for nearly every release this year outside of the Montgomery Club.
