Nothing for me yet.

I received mine, but it's possible that after they sent it, they ran out of money.

My apologies if this has been covered in any of the 13,000+ posts before this...

Is there any recourse when paying increased listing fees for GUARANTEED services that continuously get pushed back? I've gotten used to the extended delays, but still get a little ticked off when they charge the full amount per card for updates that are nowhere near the guaranteed date.

Would seem like a simple fix, COMC simply acknowledges that they didn't meet the GUARANTEE and charges a lower pricing tier per card, no?

I tend to re-use the boxes PSA sends, with additional bubble wrap as needed. I’ve also used larger boxes with bubble mailers used like team bags (with 4-5 slabs in each), making sure they are wrapped tight to not shift insuring mailing.

Had my first pricing error with an instant sale before I could fix it this morning... Sent a message to the staff@ email, but was wondering if there is a way to flag within the platform as well? Seems like all the correction request options go away once it is sold (unless it’s relisted for sale).

On a related note, how are people buying this fast? Pretty sure this was listed and bought in under a minute... I know you could do page alerts to get notified and it’s possible someone was just browsing by recent, but do we know of anyone actually using bots to make the transaction?

Thank you so much for the shipping suggestion , I will try that!

Also, how do you set up a page alert to be alerted for A specific card or player etc? Thanks

According to Top Buyers page, there are "357,486 Total Buyers". I don't know how many are actually active, but a lot of the ones who are sort by newly listed.

I'm sure some people set up RSS feeds and such to alert them when something fitting certain parameters is listed. But even without those, a newly listed card of a popular player with a lot of desirable attributes is going to attract some eyeballs.

Man, the more and more I see about StarStock the more pissed I am that I just shipped a ton of cards to COMC.

I would guess that the "total buyers" includes all ebay/Amazon transactions, guest purchases, as well as inactive accounts.

Looks like it’s rookies only if I recall

I just checked and yes it’s basically rookies and newer stuff and they seem very very picky about what you can send in to them. No thanks! COMC it is for me!

anyone see a sharp spike in shipping costs? i check my "mailday" stash sometimes and look at the shipping costs. i'm not even considering the estimated arrival but in zero rush.

i added one card to the mailday list today and looked up shipping and noticed it jumped significantly. way more than the .25 cent advanced fee and .25 toploader cost it should.

the average cost of shipping per card is worth more than over 1/4 of the cards i've marked for shipment. lol

Brady, if you clear a certain dollar value for the package, COMC automatically adds $4 for signature confirmation. Maybe you crossed that threshold.

I’ve been using Starstock a little lately. There are some similarities but Starstock limits what you can send in. I will say their condition buckets seem to be a little more strict...kind of an expectation that the A cards are Psa 9-10 equivalent.

Or use both. Honestly if COMC shipping wasn’t so awful I would move a lot of my stuff that qualifies over there. They are quick to list and have lower fees.

I was going through my cards marked "Not for Sale" and there were a couple of cards in there that I wanted to sell.

I added a price, save and I get the message "There is a pending sale"

I have never seen this before. Anyone know why?

Sure, it's an ebay or cart sale that might be using eCheck or something. They usually go through, sometimes it takes a while and the system gets hung up. Watch over the next week and see how many become real sales. If some are still stuck, you can email COMC and have them cancel the transactions and relist.

Quick shipping data point.
Two cards, Economy Rushed, requested on 11/29.
Estimated ship date was 12/14, but it shipped today, 12/8.
Moving in the right direction at least.

Just to add to the other point. I have seen pending sales sit for a week or two as such and most of the time they do turn to real sales. When the sales do fall through however, you will not be notified so you will not notice until you try to update the price and it will update properly. I usually do this once every few days just to see if the sale did fall through.

Port Sale question - I received an offer for my entire port last night, I accepted the offer, and this morning I got an email from COMC saying "my offer was rejected"

How can that be? I didn't make the offer, I was accepting someone else's. How can an accepted offer get rejected?

Hopefully my 93 card order goes out soon then. Requested 11/30 estimated 12/15 ship date. Got some Christmas presents in this package. Cant wait to watch my son open a package with 40 cards of his favorite player. I went a little overboard on the BF sale
