Someone came and dropped the Gary Vee mention and this thread went dead quiet. I assumed everyone was doing the same thing I was doing: gobbling up as much as they could and keeping their big trap shut. It lasted at least a few weeks and was glorious.
But nooooooooo. A bunch of people have to come in and keep bumping up the thread so others see it and then they start buying stuff. We coulda been somebody. We coulda been a contender! Arthur |

I immediately went out and bought a Sapphire after I saw the Vee reference. It may have done nothing afterall but I wasn't taking any chances, especially when it made actual logical sense, as well. Funny thing with the Gold Relic, I didn't even realize it was the Black until I opened the bubble mailer and saw it was /5. Just assumed I was buying the regular /25 the whole time. Was a nice surprise.

Nice work. I kept meaning to grab some more Sapphires while they were under $200 (raw/9 grade), but the window might be closed now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I think I'm done with RC year stuff of his, so I grabbed a couple of nice second year Vlads off COMC a bit ago...

I’m right there with you. I mean, I’ll still pick up rookies, but there is a lot of value to be realized in the second-years. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Appreciate the offer! Now maybe I can just re-acquire the Clear that was attacked by Wolverine and agree to fund dmanrico’s 2021 card budget, and the rainbow will be complete. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Yeah those are Real deals there & that blue could HUGE by summertime & is one of the better looking Vlads. Absolute steals w/the other two as well. Cant go back but wish I hadn’t bought so much before I would’ve scooped up 50 of these at those bargain prices. Condition be damned their practically giveaways!

A BGS 9 Update SSP took a little climb. Last one sold for $250 back in October.

I just picked up his second year sapphire card as well as the blue mosaic out of chronicles. Think they look great and good value compared to the RC's.

Bought NNO PSA 10’s at $80 a month ago. Now they are creeping up to $140+ I wonder just how much higher they can go before stagnating.

They certainly never dropped into the $60-$70 range that some predicted/feared/hoped for. I would have to imagine we’ve seen most of the bounce-back at this point, and then we’ll see another surge whenever people start ramping up for the season—in Feb or March. Then again, the landscape seems to be changing with all the attention on card investment this past year. So maybe offseason trends aren’t what they used to be—and the NNO will gradually continue creeping toward $200 before spring training begins. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I wish they would have dropped to $50. I would have made $1000’s with how heavily I was buying them for $80-$85. I would have bought 50 of them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
