Goat thread! Yall are the best lmao.

I stacked some nice zions in the offseason. A few weeks ago I won a lot that had a Zion Red Pheonix #/149. A Ja hometown herros silver. A lebron Noir #/99 and 5 or 6 other solid $10 - $20 cards... the lot was under 250.

Couldn't believe it went so low and was really happy that it actually showed up. The plan is to grade most and if the Ja does well it may pay for the entire lot.

I still think right now and in the next few weeks will be as "affordable" as Zions rcs will ever be. I wasnt able to stack as many as I would have liked but I think I'm around 30 pretty solid cards. Most at psa.

Luvit.

Uncle Jeremy seems like one of them no-nonsense cutthroat coaches. Zion isn't in shape or showing up on the defensive end...he'll find himself riding the bench.

That matador defense he played last year was inexcusable. But I'll give him a one-time pass because of the post injury conditioning.

Prayers scent for Zion and his fellow Pelicans.

Totally forgot SVG was given the job. What a mistake.

I’m one of those that stepped away from the hobby about 4 years ago and got back into it with all the Zion/Ja hype and Covid shutdown.
I’m a big Autograph fan and I’ve been fortunate to have pulled almost all of the big rookie autos with the exception of Zion.
I just resigned myself to not getting one as it just seems his prices were all $1,000 or more and as I’ve spent my “budget” (and then some) on any wax I’m gonna open.
But today I was out of town for work and found a local card show and was able to purchase this card for what I felt was a reasonable price being already raw graded. ($700).

Before buying I found on eBay what I though was comparable lower end type cards for around $1,000 or more.

Only one exactly like it that I could find on eBay was for over $3,200 (which seems way to high)

Anyway I’m happy with it. (Now I just have to figure out how to explain the purchase to my wife)

Anyway if I’m wrong I’m sure I’ll be set strait shortly. 8-)

Picked this up during the bubble games.

Excited for this guy, no minutes restrictions to start the season. That’s great news.

Also going to be spending more time at the 3.

Our cumulative bodies are ready? Yeah. I think so.

My nuts are ready; watch 2019-20 wax explode like 2018-19. You can’t lose in NBA products, so much safer than MLB & NFL.

Trying to compare Zion to other players during their age 19 season (basketball-reference).

Zion: 22.5 PPG in 27.8 minutes
LeBron: 20.9 PPG in 39.5 minutes
Luka: 21.2 PPG in 32.2 minutes
Kobe: 15.4 PPG in 26 minutes

Say what you want about his overall game, but points sell, and based on these figures I think Zion is incredibly underrated. It looks like base prizm's are starting to gain some steam. Let's keep all of the attention on Luka while we keep shopping.
