My suggestion was not to go to any of the 2 or 3 shady companies that sell on eBay, but to one of the larger auction houses (Goldin, Sotheby's, Heritage, etc.) and have it sold at a "traditional" auction.

Some are getting loose packs and others boxes.

I'm on board with you guys on Deloach. Hadn't even heard of him until seeing this auto. VERY intriguing prospect and crazy how big of a turnaround he made after his sophomore season.

Collation is HORRIBLE. Wound up with 5 cards of one guy (Mets 1st round draft pick... Pete Crowsomething) and, of course, no Torks.

Does anyone know why Heston Kjerstad’s 1st Bowman Auto card number is TOC-HK... all of the other cards are CDA-PLAYERINITIAL

But if you look at the auto posted on eBay, it isn’t an insert.... only thing I can see is his auto picture is different from his base picture...

Chaos!!

Yeah. Odd. It's the numbering they've given in the past to the TOC box toppers.

Different photo than base, but still has 1st Bowman. Maybe they are doing auto photo variations, and changing the 1st rules a little.

Question - what would you rather have? That 1st Edition 1/1 Tork Auto or the Bowman Draft Super Auto? Thinking the Super Auto will still be more sought after.

I think Topps ruined the chances of the First Edition autos carrying a premium when they completely botched the autos the first time around. The level of excitement waiting for that first Jasson to surface was crazy, then it quickly became a joke with all the smudged autos.

Was going to open if I got loose packs, but received my 24 packs as a sealed box, so to the closet it goes until there is a bounty worthy of flipping.
