The GOP has all these people in Pennsylvania willing to go public with these claims yet none of them will show up in court. It's almost as if lying in court has actual consequences versus showing up to a kangaroo court headed up by lil' Rudy.

I think it has to do with the fact that political discussions really center around opinions and feelings. People don't want to take the time to understand the other person's opinion or thought process and would rather call them wrong or stupid. I have a lot of friends and family members that voted Trump. I'd like to think I understand their thought process. I know they're not hardcore racists or homophobes.

I know I'm guilty of it from time to time, but I really do try to understand their views. I don't agree with them but they're no more right or wrong than anyone else on most issues.

Hahaha true, to be fair I wrote that in 20-30 minutes as my kids were dragging ass getting ready for bed after trying to find the time to knock it out for a good month or so, and everything that happened in the story was over the summer/quarantine.

But really, this thread has degenerated into this one lady who has openly talked about having not much to do all day versus all you guys that are just so, so bootstrappy. Math doesn’t add up and if I’m Houdini I can’t wait to wrap this up.

Totally, I feel like I’ve read about the high cost of leathal injection stuff at some point. Guns and bullets aren’t cheap these days either though, blunt objects on the other hand would be reusable though as well as much cheaper

Pretty sure I read somewhere that the legal costs of all the appeals required to execute a person are more than the cost of incarcerating them for life, which I'd guess is the worse penalty anyway.
