As a de Jong collector, I'm super jealous. As someone unemployed by Covid, though, sadly I can't make an offer.

The x-factor inserts seem to be selling for a lot less than his silver/colored prizm refractors on ebay... it's an insert and there's no RC logo on the card. As a 1/1 I'm not sure how that translates. A 1/5 color variation of his base went for ~$800... but I see this insert likely fetching less. If I was bidding on ebay I'd probably expect to fork out $400-500, but who knows? It only takes two people to bid it to the moon.

This is unique. So for some of these patches, gold is /10 or lower. For TAA and Mbappe, the gold is 1/1. So here is a Gold TAA patch 1/1. I think its unique and TAA is my favorite player.

Gold 1/1. Usually gold /10 and black is 1/1.

So what was the stance on dimples and grading again? Joao silver has a dimple

make a line from his left elbow to the side of the card (in case you somehow didn't notice

) really wanted to send that one in, isn't one of the big 2 graders more forgiving on dimples in Panini Silvers than the other? Or just put it in a one touch and put it away.. Nice product

Not really about "letting" him back in the squad, but Greenwood showing he's worth a place.

Apparently Greenwood acts like a billy big bollocks off the field, almost a polar opposite to Rashford. With Cavani signing, Martial, Rashford.. and Sancho still linked, Greenwood could be resigned to the subs bench from January if Man Utd panic buy.

All in all, it's not looking great for him in the short term for England if that happens, especially as Sancho + Sterling play in his place.

Hobby and hybrid have gone back on sale on Panini DE. They've just been sat there for a couple of days now as the secondary market is now below the Panini release price with singles really starting to drop off.

Ripping is way more fun. So I always rip especially if your buy-in was low.

But if you are talking dollars, I would just GUESS the expected value from a box is about 1/4 the current sell price (probably less). So sell sell sell (unopened). You could miss a big card... but how big is big?

What are boxes getting? $400? So how many cards out there get you 2x the box price? Sancho, Felix, Mbappe, Ronaldo rare parallels (Zebra, gold, etc...)?

I mean... that's kinda it. And it's got a good shot at being a clunker -checkilst is huge and not filled with base actual "rookie cards" that (at current glance) aren't filled with potential.

But if I had 2 sitting in front of me now? Rip it and forget it.

Yeah good points. I think I'll rip one and sell the other. I got them at a decent price, almost $800 after tax/ship which at the time I thought was a steal but prices have dipped so it seems almost the going rate at this point.

If hobby is $500 and hybrid is $300 and I am going to rip 1, which do you think would be the better value rip?

I don't know what the pack odds look like... but the camo/tiger exclusive in hybrid seems to be the tradeoff for less prizms overall... and to me, that's quite a leap. I think Hybrid are still priced like they are because people take a long time to react and everyone assumed early on that it was some kind of near equal trade off because that's how it was priced. As evidence by the more rapid price decline. When you see the market move like it has... in THIS climate... that is a big red flashing light (to me).

Got the email that Panini dropped the hybrids to $389 which is still about $50-75 more than they are going on Ebay.

Had to laugh at the price drop. It's still $269 more than what it should be.

I though I saw Blowout had dropped hobby to $429 but then raised it back up to $529, still too high. Personally I think this should be well below Topps Finest and Panini Chronicles hobby, I'd also take a box of Obsidian or Topps UCL museum ahead of this too.
