[QUOTE=ReidDeGoo;16676339]Yeah, what happened to that guy? Been silent since 11/3 it looks like. I've been looking forward to seeing all of the Blowout custom cards together [/Q

I can confirm WMH is alive. I've seen some of his "in the lab" work. The dude needs a deal with a card company yesterday!

If I had to guess, the Grotesk Mays will be pretty dark, with orange lettering and brown creatures holding up a mini 52 Mays.

The Siff will be an explosion of red and yellow, like the ketchup and mustard on his McGwire card.

Now I'm sad we'll have to wait till 2021 or 2022 when we recreate scenes such as this for the first-annual TP2020 Fest.

This makes the worry in me subside. I give thee thanks.

That Siff seems pretty lazy to me. Not a Siff fan anyway, but that one just doesn't seem like his best effort

I actually like it better than most of his others. because I can at least identify Ted Williams. Just seems less Siffy than usual.

Too much white border on that Mays.

I think it may be my favorite Williams (possibly my least favorite card of the series).

For Siff’s card, is this inspired by Blake’s McGwire, as pay back for the tribute in Blake’s Brett?

That card is from 1954 when Ted was 35. His rookie card was 1939 Play Ball.

The flags are a little corny but I like the Siff Williams.

Not sure yet on Grotesk's Mays.

It doesn't charm me the way his Henderson, Ripken and Griffey did.

Go look at the 58' Topps card....Guessing the 54' card maybe the picture was even earlier?

My early New Year's resolution is if I have nothing positive to say about something, then say nothing.

My take on Siff's Teddy Ballgame:

Man I have been a collector of Grotesk, but well......

Siff I haven't been collecting but have more than half of the Williams cards, thought the Siff/Williams would be one that I would pick up, but well.....

Yeah, it works for me. Somewhat similar to his Griffey with his approach, except more OCD friendly, and less overwhelming with doodles.
