Ok this is getting scary. Trump is planning to hold mass rallies in the contested states during this legal battle. There is no reason to do this except to rile up his cult. If he wants to lie, tweet, send in his lawyers, etc that's fine but there is zero reason to do this. None of these people showing up are going to help him now, the election is over. The recounts will happen and any improper or illegal votes will get tossed, whatever needs to be done to certify the final official number.

When has the left declared an election is rigged before a single vote is cast? People from both sides have cried and moaned about the result of an election before but oh well. No one has to be happy with the result. However Trump threatening the basic foundations of democracy is incredibly dangerous.

When has there ever been an election like this? Everyone knew that no matter which side one, it would be contested. Media outlets have been reporting for months now that this election would most likely end up with controversy and be dragged out.
I personally don’t like how far Trump is taking this with the rallies, but to act as if the left is morally superior despite all of the Russia nonsense, Kavanaugh nonsense, etc., is lunacy.

Why is this relevant?

I'm not left, lol. I'm also not a Trumper. I have no horse in this race. For people like me, the whole "but they did it too" argument not only falls short, but seems insane.

Trump will not be our president in a few months no matter what. No matter what. That is a fact. His legal arguments (yes I've read them) are laughable. He lost.

Why fight the obviously losing battle? Why not retain whatever dignity he has left?

It's time to welcome our new president and make sure he knows the Senate is still red. Dems are still screwed. This new president has Executive Orders, but that's it. Mitch still holds the purse strings.

Let's focus on the future, not the past. How about we do that?
