Well, we'll have a better picture of their cash flow situation when they start taking investments. Haven't seen anything additional since Tim announced it was coming like three months ago on a livestream.

Sounds about right. They really need to update their submission time estimates but I’m sure they plan to keep blaming COVID for all their shortcomings.

Anyone notice a difference on submission time for regular 3 week vs "current year" 3 week?

I have submitted 4 different 3-Week Guaranteed submissions in the last 2 months, and all have been completed on time within the 3-weeks (these submissions contained between 73 and 440 cards each).

And I have submitted 4 different Current Year 3-Week Submissions, and they are taking around 8 to 10 weeks to process. COMC should take the "3-Week" off the Current Year option and just state "processing time varies with demand", as it confuses many.

That's kind of what I figured. Thanks!

Looks like I'm currently waiting now on 2 submissions left. Both Current Year 3 week, 2000 cards with an original due date of 9/28, and 2000 cards with an original due date of 10/30.

Looks like I'm at about 8 1/2 weeks so far on the first one. Hopefully that one gets started soon, they haven't updated their "status" since October 29th, so its hard to know what kind of progress they are making, if any, on backlogged submissions.

I have a lot more I would like to send in, but want to see some movement first. It's definitely frustrating.

I never said I requested a check from COMC, but after several years of working for COMC's customer service team, I've had the timeframe stated at me more than once by customers who's checks had missed the deadline...management not adhering to their policies caused me more than one headache.

My 9/23 current year had cards start popping yesterday to give you a timeline. (oddly enough they did the encased ones first, and they usually seem to do those last)

Mind your own business.

Ive gotten my checks on time. Why would I not keep sending cards?

They just started on a couple of my CY 3 Weeks with original due dates of 9/11. Getting pretty good sized drops for the most part.

Yep, I request a check around the middle of each month. They all have arrived on time - usually around 14 days after requesting, which is as expected.

I know they aren't required to, but COMC should really think about sending a financial snapshot to all sellers as a courtesy. That would squash the cash flow theories instantly.

If i was COMC I would never ever do that...for a million different reasons most notably its nobody's business.........It is quite simple if you think they are having financial difficulties do not do business with them.

That is fair, but as a seller with 100,000 cards I'm pretty invested into their business staying afloat. I've calculated that it would take almost 2 years for me to sell my inventory at the rate I sell items.

I've thought about cutting my port size, but I don't have enough self control to do that. So if COMC goes down, I'm probably going down with them.

Well there you go then if they go down you are going with them and you obviously have accepted that or you would be gone...I am a mid sized seller (i have around 70,000 cards with them) and I am not worried about it....I have been with them from the beginning 2008 first account and 2010 current account.

Have other's sales nosedived the past week? I had 2 record months in September/October, but November has been hardly a peep. I realize those sales were boosted by new inventory & aggressive sales, but this much of a drop off seems odd. Plus, the aggressive sales are continuing, and there's still new stuff trickling in (just a lot slower).

Got to wonder if the lack of shipments is taking a bigger toll (my request from July is now 2 weeks beyond it's "due date").

For me July/August were both records. September sales dropped 60% from august, October dropped 75% from August, and November has flat out been ugly.

I think you are right that the shipping problems have really hurt COMC

My sales have been pretty consistent, but then, I have very little from the last few years (excepting ePack stuff). I'm more vintage/oddball/nonsports, and my autographed cards have been selling well lately.

I don’t have much left in my port (thankfully), but my sales are way down compared to Sept/Oct. I’ll just keep lowering prices until they are gone!
