I get it, if you don't say anything, it can't be refuted. Well done.

I did offer a rebuttal, then you countered it with another delusional rambling post. Nice try at deflection.

Ok so you have thought about what you will do then. I'm glad. I was a little worried for you.

I do agree that Trump is not winning. No way the polls are even farther off than they were in 2016. Unlike you I am not worried about the outcome either way. My daily life will not change. I will just be glad to stop seeing political ads.

Either there's a valid answer to be given (based on your own posts), or there's not.

This I can agree with, wholeheartedly.

Even if somehow Trump wins, I'm not worried. I've survived the last four years just fine. Honestly, a disputed election is more worrisome than a victory either way...but I don't live in a place that would take the brunt of any riots or anything.

I do not see it this way. Perhaps I missed something. I thought I made a post, then you responded. I then responded to your response, at which time you decided to try insulting me.

It's okay, I didn't take it personally. I just figured you were done at that point.

Would you like to discuss politics? If so, what's on your mind?

I laugh when people think trump can deal with the Dems and then I see how this thread acts. Do you think this random sample is much different than DC or society as a whole?

Thank you, Madoka. Consider me corrected.

I guess I could've been more clear in my statement. Rather than saying "who wants to take your guns", I should've said nobody on the political landscapes today has a plan to take guns away. They know they can't do that. They are trying to chip away at it though, no argument there.

Yet Trump is "literally Hitler"?

Some great policies in there. Glad you’re coming around to how badly Trump has managed his Presidency.

To borrow the term you used in your original post, it was nothing but.. "fear mongering".

Excellent. More insults.

I'm pretty calm, friend. Actually, I've laughed quite a bit this morning. I mean, seriously, this has been hilarious...no? It's like a bad Saturday Night Live skit. I keep imagining the characters coming out on Weekend Update being posters here.

A lot of restaurants (maybe not all, but a lot) want a phone number when you make a reservation anyway.

Some other countries like Australia are using QR codes for restaurants and pubs, but there are so many (understandable) privacy concerns with how that data is collected and stored that maybe old fashioned pen and paper is a better way in this case.

This is fair.

But, all fear mongering has an element of truth. To call it fear mongering is fair, but to call it "nothing but" is naive.

If it's not possible to actually happen (Trump becoming the next dictator), then its fear mongering.

""People on social media are calling for a boycott of Home Depot after its co-founder pledged his support for President Trump in the upcoming 2020 election.

In a Friday opinion article in Fox News, Home Depot co-founder Bernie Marcus explained why he was supporting a second term for President Trump and why other Americans should do similarly.

"Bernie retired from The Home Depot about 20 years ago and does not speak on behalf of the company," a Home Depot spokesperson told Business Insider.""

I can honestly see both sides on this. I see the Left (Trump haters) diving deep into history to try and say that Trump is the second coming of Satan. Exaggeration is strong with these arguments as we, the U.S., do have checks in place to stop someone from going to far. Then you have the Right (Trump lovers) who blindly love everything about him. His lies, ego, self righteousness, and disregard for anything he doesn't believe in just make them love him more.

The man brings out the best in people, that's for sure.
