Stupid question I am sure has been answered before but I couldn’t find it.

If I request a cash out do I pay PayPal fees on it plus the 10% to them?

No Paypal fees. It's considered a gift transfer.

Awesome. Thanks. I was hoping that was the case.

Less than a month until Black Friday. Will COMC be ready, I sure hope so.

Don't get your hopes up. They are so backlogged.

It seems like a PR disaster to offer up something as a good deal for shipping on Black Friday. Either those people will get to jump the line that have been waiting 100+ days or that rush of orders of anything made during the sale will be shipped out after 120 - 150 days.

They can't win either way on the customer side.

So I went back through the submission spreadsheets, and it actually looks like I was charged for the elite scans after all. While you could maybe make the argument that these cards were worth "elite" values, I intentionally didn't submit them at that level. Seems ridiculous to randomly upcharge without notification, especially since I didn't get one of the other major benefits - a much quicker turnaround time for the elite level...

Whoa, it looks like COMC combined 3 of my orders and shipped them out yesterday. Super stoked I’m not going to have to wait on the other two orders. Hopefully this means they are getting caught up on their shipping issues. At least a little bit.

On the 15th, I scheduled a $2500 UDA print through epack using their fastest shipping level, which cost me $100.

It’s been 2 weeks and it hasn’t shipped. We passed the estimated delivery last week... wth COMC.

Man, I love the crazy things that happen on comc sometimes.

Bought a card for $2 four months ago and relisted for $7. It sat there and last night someone listed another of the same one for $2. I snatch it up and mark it not for sale. Not two hours later, my $7 listing sells. So $5 profit and I still have another card to sell!

Then I have two of my own exact same cards, one for sale at $1.50 for a month now. It sells on eBay last night so I list my second one at 6am this morning for $2.50 and it sells in under 30 minutes, lol.

Default Question...

Is there any way to block a buyer from submitting offers? A COMC user has been sending me the same offers on the same cards non stopped even though I keep countering or just rejecting. I am usually VERY flexible on price with whatever I send in (some of you have tendered offers and may know that). This guy is relentless though and on cards that I literally just priced yesterday. I guess he/she just thinks I will give in to pestering? I never do it but next time I'm tempted to double my price just to prove a (really very petty) point!

There is not a way to block an offer. Supposedly after 4 rejections of an offer on the same card, they can no longer make offers on that card. If they're really annoying you, just don't respond at all to their offers. It will tie up their money for a few days until they get the message.

And thanks for accepting my offer yesterday on the Duke Kahanamoku Sport Kings card. May leave it for sale there, may send it home. You've been uploading some nice stuff.

There is a fine line between sending fair offers and being annoying. It is a challenge.

Buyers think there is always another seller or thing they could buy. But I think some people mistake that for, "How lucky this seller is that I'm giving them business", forgetting the seller does not have to sell you their cards.

Sellers have every right to wait for a full BIN or get the most for their cards. Because that is what we all do once buying the cards. If it really is a card for your collection, you'd pay up.

Easiest way for it to stop is just ignore it for 3 days. Or if they are members on the forum just send them a polite message.

That Duke is a beautiful card...if I wasn't funding another hobby purchase it would definitely have been a keeper!

We’ll release more spook-tacular details in the nights leading up to this awesome event, so be sure to follow us on our fear-inspiring Facebook page, our terrifying Twitter account, and our icky Instagram account.

We’ll add updates to this blog post including some creepy consignment specials.

Our ghastly goal at the show is to answer any squeamish questions you may have, attract guests to become members of COMC, and give something back to our loyal and boo-tiful customers.

From the latest blog post. Does anyone have any ideas what they will be offering? Speaking of which my basic batch due in April is still outstanding.

No clue. The paragraph above that says they're making a Version 2 of the Challenges is interesting.

So they are 6+ months behind on processing submissions, and they are planning (creepy) consignment specials?

I wish they would just stop consignments for awhile until they get caught up with with all pending submissions.

Stopping submissions will not help the situation. It will just create an even bigger logjam once they reopen them resulting in the same issues they are currently having, maybe even worse.

How do you figure stopping submissions will create more of a logjam? If people send stuff in they can send it back. Or not allow people to print submission slips to begin with will alleviate anything coming in. Then they get everything caught up and reopen submissions. There will obviously be a day or two before stuff starts trickling in so they can be prepared for it.

Everyone will sit on items to sub. Then when the doors open there will be thousands of submissions coming in with weeks or months of cards coming in at once. It will be the same thing over again.

There are some sellers that send in thousands a week. Others do it monthly start doing the math for a month long hiatus. Adds up fast

3 week current year due 9/23 just moved to 10%, based on my last current 3 week, that cards should start popping early next week.

I inquired about the status of my refund request made Friday morning just now. Someone immediately replied saying it would take four business days for refunds to process.

Why couldn’t the guy who responded just push a button to issue the refund right away...? Or process refunds without human interaction?
