How did PSA mess up the label on that card? The weird thing is when you look up the serial, the year is correct on their site.

Nice story to go with it - it seems we're in similar situations as I took a bit of a hobby breather around the same age, and then came back almost around the same time. Never owned a Brady but have let some big Trout/Acuna/Giannis go that now of course, wish I'd kept. Bittersweet but just gotta keep pushing onward - nice buy!

At the point in time this card came out I was no longer in the hobby.. how much something like this go for?

dope pick up man, the fact its 8/ makes the fact it got a PSA 8 worth it lol

For a guy who does not collect cards and thought it was worth $400, trust me, he is very, very happy and had no problem getting rid of it lol. It was like finding the winning lottery ticket in his closet.

Definitely amazing piece. Seems like he was more than happy with what he received and this card landed into a place where it can be accounted for and treasured for what it is today, going forward.

I love seeing cards like this have the grading aspect of it be used more as protection, rather than a representation of the value of the card.
