Any guesses on voter turnout this election? We were over 55% in 2016 at 55.5% of population voting. I am guessing we hit 60% this election. Just seems like more people than ever taking an interest in politics. I personally know a handful of friends and family that are voting for the first time. All voting for Trump which is a good sign. But I know passion for change and hate for Trump is strong from the left as well so could be record numbers from either side.

Saying Trump does not have respect for the constitution is nonsense. It's just vomit you spit up; never able to actually point to anything that backs up the claim. Same in saying Trump is anti-immigration. He isn't, you just don't know what you're talking about. He's very in favor of NATO as well; just not in them taking advantage of the U.S. fiscally.

Specfically, under Obama, students could be expelled, without trial, cause or evidence for the mere allegation of sexual misconduct on campus. Never allowed to confront their accuser, never allowed to hire an attorney and have a hearing. Just gone.

That has changed under Devos. She reinstated student rights so that every accusation must include a hearing, present evidence etc. Here's a nice opinion article from the NYT about what was done to bring some sanity back on campus.

As someone who I usually enjoy to read their posts, you are starting to backpedal into believing everything the media tells you.

He's definitely not anti LEGAL immigration

In regards to anti-trans, he has taken away healthcare given to them to do the procedure. I'd gladly debate this specific topic if that's what you're referencing.

I hate defending him but I hate misinformation even more.

Unlike others here, you make coherent arguments. I respect that. If I have fallen short of returning the favor, I apologize. I will strive to do better.

I do not claim to be perfect, nor perfectly informed. I do claim to be interested in intelligent discussions. I thank you for providing that. I apologize again for failing to return the same.

I believe little of what the media tells me. Sadly, though I sift through endless hours of bombardment, some of it seeps in. I hope you will continue to correct me when necessary.

I disapprove of misinformation as well. I do not wish to proliferate it.
