Great speech. One of the best in history.

States having individual rights that prevent things and having people not believing we could get to the moon is not a good comparison. That's not a hard limit. I don't think there's anything in the Constitution about moon travel rights.

Now that we solved that inaccuracy, just because I don't like Trump doesn't mean I have to be blind to reality. If you can't see the dems are being more resistant than ever, I don't know what to tell you. Some of it is warranted, some of it is down right stupid.

If I didn't make it apparent before, I don't care what party you say you are, if you make a illogical statement, I'll refute it.

You named three people who were better men then Trump. One created interment camps, one owned slaves and believed in state individuality (which is completely different than your view for COVID) and one seemed to have a lot of affairs. Ironically half those qualities are shared between Trump.

Now, we can be an angry liberal and complain about everything wrong Trump does, OR we could realize he has done some things right. Not enough for my vote but I'm not going to sit here and make statements that are false.

Trump doesn't want to work with the left, the left doesn't want to work with him. Wake up.
I'm am not asleep, friend.

Yes, those three men had serious flaws. And yes, they were still all better men than Trump. And it wasn't even close.

I admitted not knowing what was blinding you. Thanks for clearing that up for me.

I am not liberal. I hope we have solved that inaccuracy as well. I also did not vote for Trump or for Biden.

Trump has done a few things right. I never said otherwise. Now, we can sit here and just be angry, or we could realize the situation could be better.

Mike1498 2024. I'm in.

C'mon. Lol.

Now you're arguing just to argue.

My wishes:

Fiscal responsibility
Pro life
Less spending/smaller government
Less regulations
Strong military
Strong foreign policy
No ACA
Strong borders
Lower taxes

Where I differ with the right:

LGBTQ rights
Covid response
Trump

I lean right. I am not hugely far right on every issue.

C'mon. Do better.

Lies. The only thing you have ever espoused in this forum is that leans right is fiscal responsibility. You opened your tenure here telling me I should vote a certain way. You continued today to say that the government should be telling citizens what to do and enforcing those rules through force then cited the worst liberal president in the history of the country as a shining example.

(And what is strong foreign policy? Does someone write "weak foreign policy" as something they believe in).

You're liberal. You may once have been conservative but the way you speak of ideas today suggests otherwise. Best to simply change the voter ID card and get it over with ... because everyone here knows it will make no difference who the Republicans send out in '24; your vote is for Kamala Harris.

Explain to me how FDR and the New Deal support any of those beliefs? I'm not trying to rip you apart but I don't know if you understand what you're saying.

And I wish to call this out as well.

Like LGBTQ rights are anti-republican... gimme a break.

Every single thing except for fiscal responsibility is a check mark next to Trump and his policy; he has hit everything you pretend to be about and has governed as the most pro-life, pro-conservative of our lifetime... and yet you'll vote somewhere else.

Only if a President checks all 18 of your boxes will you vote I guess. GL w/ that one.

It’s good that they voiceover the facts to dispel his lying.

Well good for you, then I wasn't talking about you. Unless you've made other poor life choices like decades of smoking, alcohol abuse, ect. Our country has no accountability we just finger point. Our laziness and poor lifestyle has made this a lot worse than it should have been.

No, I am simply pointing out everyone is making sacrifices to help protect people more at risk. But a high number of people in this country who are at high risk can do something about that and even now, still choose not to.

Dependent on who turns out on the 3rd. Right now, he's in a big hole but can overcome it with a wave of votes on Tuesday.

We'll see.

I will say I'm more convinced than ever the polls are wrong.

https://twitter.com/NYScanner/status...25646800199682

This stuff goes one way 95% of the time. Just for driving down the road, you get paint thrown on your car and beaten. If someone has a single video of this happening to a Biden supporter at a Biden rally ... I'd love to see it. Sadly, I've seen far too many of these.

Why anyone announces themselves as a supporter of Trump in our country is beyond me. I would never, ever, ever consider doing so.

Biden doesn't hold rallys.

What are your main reasons for voting Trump? Are they fiscal?

I have given up on the hope of electing a fiscal conservative. There is no way one could be elected in today's environment. I have been pleasantly surprised that he is not the NY liberal I thought he may turn out to be. That was my biggest concern going into 2016.

Foreign policy - I work for a company in Israel and when you hear them talk about what he has done; how he has made them safer and how he has allowed them to simply exist is remarkable. In addition to this feat, bringing my brother home from the ME was big for me. As is starting a total of zero conflicts in four years while making sure ISIS and North Korea were no longer in the news.
Title IX reform - I have a young son and I never want what has happened to many young men at college to happen to him. This was a very important policy decision to me.
Lower taxes - Speaks for itself / but I banked mid-four figures each of the last two years as a result + money saved by my family and friends. Helps.
Removal of Obamacare mandate - Saved my parents a lot of money the last three years. My mother refuses health insurance; and didn't have to pay the penalty, which was $2,300 each year. Seven grand additional savings for her.
Judicial Branch - 3 textualists who will go a long way to protecting our rights and liberties on the SC as well as hundreds of Federal jurists that will do the same.

And the list goes on.

This^^

JR is either confused or just flat out lying. Literally every post is pure liberal nonsense. Yet we are to believe this person is or was a conservative republican lol. It is quite entertaining to watch.

I'm also not following your thinking on Title IX reform.

Also, how does your mother plan on paying future health care costs?
Out of pocket?

You should look into Title IX reform and read the stories of students who were expelled from school. It may change your thoughts on the subject.

As for my mother; she's not thinking about it.

There ya go.
