WRONG. Murphy is an idiot and NJ and NY despite our strictest Covid policies are near the top of the world in cases and deaths.

I can go to dinner. Go to a movie. Get a massage. But I cannot be trusted to wash my hands after voting in person. Which is strictly prohibited.

We have no option to vote in person in NJ. That speaks volumes of the mindset of our corrupt state government.

Anybody here vote already and have any second doubts?
I highly doubt it, but I do wonder.

I have no doubts, but I do wish I could opt out of the political junk mail I'm still receiving. Junk mail makes me want to never vote for the person sending it.

Let's watch and see. Would be amazing if leadership taking something seriously with a plan makes a difference. I know what my prediction is
Lol @ people comparing new Zealand to the US The state of Missouri has more people and almost as much land mass as New Zealand. Most local city Mayor's could run that country. Like comparing apples to school buses. I'm sure the policies that worked for new Zealand would have worked perfectly for a country almost 90 times larger.

First off, your vote won't matter. The only red county was Monmouth County in 2016 if I remember correctly. While I agree it's stupid, it's really not a big deal at all. I don't know why people freak out about this. They were also having problems with people to work at the polls (since most were older volunteers).

What I find beautiful is that we have taken a problem and have found alternatives. Now with so many companies trying to integrate things like Zoom for even after the pandemic will increase workers productivity and happiness (able to work from home).

It's easy to look at this from the outside and say that businesses are suffering, because they are. But we have transformed so much since January to now. As someone who worked over the summer at Target, we were constantly opening up new jobs for order pick up because there was a problem that didn't exist before January. I expect people even after the pandemic to use order pickup. Small businesses are starting to work with Uber Eats so they can still sell while following protocols.

We just need to understand this is a short term shock but their will be a lot of benefits from this in our future.
100%. Good to see restaurants and stores adopt curbside. More hand sanitizer. We'll be cleaner after this.

I hope this is something everyone can agree on. Also politicians that don't pick up their signs after the election are a pet peeve of mine.

I am going to scour the earth for the best, smartest mfers alive. I'm going to throw a ton of money at them. I'm going to put them in a room and keep them there until they explore all of our options and figure out what the best course of action is to protect our nation, both in terms of health and the economy. And if I have to, I'm going to kick some asses to make that happen.

Then, we are going to deal with this as they say. All of us. And just as before, if I have to, I will kick some asses to make it happen.

Those smart mfers from all over the globe are going to meet in a room every couple of days to reevaluate. And we will continually evaluate if we have the smartest mfers in there. And yes, again I will kick some asses to make it happen.

This might suck. We may have to tighten our belts. It may get ugly. But I promise you, as your president, we will not waiver from the strategies put forth by the smartest mfers in the world, and we will get through this together.

Lol this would have changed absolutely zero. Maybe you and some others would have liked him more?? No probably not since most of you made up your mind about Trump the day he announced he was running for President.

But practically it would not have changed a thing. We know so much more about the virus worldwide today and it is still kicking everyone's butt.

The reason we had many is because Trump couldn't get everyone to agree. I believe he might've been able to do that if he pitched it the way I wrote in my above post.

He wanted to play doctor, to act like he knew best. He wanted to play politics too. If he acted like a president instead of a doctor, we would've been better served.

His job was to convince Americans that our plan was coherent, inclusive, and designed by the best. That's how one leads. Instead, he ridiculed his own experts... presumably because he disagreed but possibly because their plan interfered with his reelection campaign.

True. Trump never had a chance. He is not capable.

Many presidents could've though. It's not necessary to agree on the best Covid response. It's necessary to agree on how that response is formulated and whether it will be implemented.

Lol yeah Trump just should have done something that has essentially never been done. Get states and representatives from republican democratic and 3rd parties all to agree on something. Easy peezy. Can't believe he couldn't do that. For someone of your advanced age you sure are naive.

How can a legit governor disagree with the strategy of getting the best in a room and then doing what they say?

It gets done 1000s of times a year. That's how a bill becomes a law, unless you missed Schoolhouse Rock during your weekend cartoon session.

Maybe I am naive, but I do have the sense of a 6-year-old.

Because if Trump wants it, they are agreeing with Trump and they won't do that.

Why else did they mock Trump for closing the borders to China?

But guess what? The borders got closed. They disagreed about what should be done, not what we were going to do.

The reason Trump called this a Democratic hoax is simply because it's an election year. Do everything on your power to get Trump out of office, so disagree with him on everything. It would have happened if Clinton was in.
