That deep TD to Slayton was a perfect pass. Slayton blew by the corner, but the safety underneath it has time to recover if that pass is underthrown.

A lot of people are talking bad about the goal line INT, but it looks to me like he got hit as he threw. IMO the INT to TJ Watt was a worse play. He never recognized the drop and didn't have an open receiver anyways.

Either way, I'll take the good with the bad against an opponent like this.
The problem with the goal line int was him not throwing the ball away before it came to that. Nobody open and you are running for your life take the down loss and live to fight another down.

Big issue with the blitz is Saquon is not good at picking up the extra rusher. He missed several blocks

Yea he tried to do too much.

But there were 1 or 2 other times in the game where he tried to do to much and it worked... like the cross the field throw to Barkley for the first down. It's an area he has an opportunity to progress.

Yeah I saw Engram miss about every block all night.

Jones has 3-5 throws every game that are very impressive.

After that, everything else is pretty meh

Jones and darnold have no chance..... those teams are the worst in the nfl....

The thing is also... if one of them has the worst record... you can't pass on T Lawrence

The Giants will 100% pass on TL.

Due to the NFC East being so bad, I don't see any of the 3 teams (NYG, WFT & Philly) being bad enough to draft 1.1 to be able to take Lawrence.

After seeing the success Murray is having in AZ, I don't see anything wrong with cutting bait if you don't think Jones is the guy.

Agreed.Picking TL is most likely not even an option for them.. TL has the talent to be a very good, if not great QB. If the Giants get the #1 pic they should trade it as some other team will pay up big time for it. G-men need major help to rebuild their god awful team...1 position they have locked down is the QB..Everything else is a mess.

The Jets on the other hand... lol Cant pass on TL imo

Have a Jones RWB Prizm I'm looking to offload. Probably should do it now. Don't have a lot of hope with how bad they've been playing.

I said the same thing in the Watson thread. If you were buying before the season and hoping for a super bowl/mvp type of year, your expectations were delusional. These guys are more than one year holds and will be just fine. Between bad trades and injuries, their teams are dumpster fires this year.

Definitely fun to laugh at with the play, but he definitely had some wheels on that play (even if they got wobbly at the end )

Wheels def fell off his wagon, on his long run.
I think he has the skills to be a long term NFL starting QB.
Giants need to think about drafting another Tackle. Their 1st round pick this year, is not
an NFL caliber Left Tackle.

As hilarious as it was, I actually feel sorry for him. Not many QB's (Kyler and Lamar excluded) can bust out an 80 yard run like that. Impressive.

And I also read it was the fastest QB run in 2 years? Extra impressive.

PS. I dislike the Giants so zero bias here.

PPS. Also top 5 longest QB run in last 25 years.

PPPS. Just wanted to use this as I have never in my life used PPPS.

Up until the time that he stumbled over that invisible gopher, it was pretty impressive. He was pulling away from the DBs who were chasing him.

It's just a very Giants (or NFC East) thing to do because the fall is what most people will remember from it.

Yeah, they might need to move him back to RT, where he started.

Yep, it's definitely unfortunate. My theory is that because of the lack of crowd noise, he heard footsteps and lost balance.

Poor guy - he shot out of a cannon and I think the adrenaline and excitement got to him. I wish he could have wobbled his way to the end zone. That run was really impressive up until that point

Would have been cool if he could have rolled in, before the defender touched him down.
