Would anyone want to swap a extra Loubob base for my extra bobby witt base from series 3?

Opened my 8 packs of wave 5, no auto, but my best hit from all waves.

Blank back 2/10 Roger Clemens
Polar Bear Rafael Devers
Sovereign Andrew McCutchen
Sweet Caporal Flaherty and McGwire

As a Cards fan, the Sweet Caporals are nice, I'm happy overall. I'll probably put them in the binder tonight, but I noticed a TON of base dups, collation was really bad in wave 4 for me, this may be the same.

Same here for pretty much all waves for me. Horrible collation!

I have read the forum for a long time but just now starting to post. Did pretty good with my 20 packs of series 5. I have no idea how to put the picture in the post so had to do it as an attachment. Best cards are Cycle Dustin May and blank back Robert.

Wow, congrats, both huge pulls!

I just got down putting wave 5 in my binder, collation wasn't as bad as I thought, only missing 7 base, funny thing, and I think this applied to every wave for me, if I didn't get a base card, I got the card in a parallel back.

Looking back, I'm happy I got what I did instead of just buying base sets. It was fun to open and build the sets, and I enjoyed the different backs. Definitely helped in a year where I'm priced out of a lot of hobby and can't even find retail.

Couldn't agree more. I haven't been back in the hobby all that long, but this was BY FAR the most fun I've had with any product. Just love these little guys!

Also agree on both points. I'd really like to see the layout of sheets to figure out how this happened consistently(with Piedmonts and Sweet Caps for me normally).

This set was a fun Covid project. I liked having multiple waves and multiple levels of sets to build. I'm really glad I didn't decide to jump off the set building wagon with the prospect wave. I traded, and am still trading, a good deal with this set and have enjoyed doing so greatly. I'm still building some sets up to the the Sweet Caporal level so still have some fun left with the series.

Did anyone else get shorted on their order? I had a 20-box order for series 4 that came with only 16 boxes. Customer service has been non-existent after 3 attempts in the past 3 weeks. I just DM'd them on Instagram hoping to get someone there.

Anyone have a link for wave 5 checklist? Can't find it on Topps website. Just sorted wave 4 and have a bunch of extra base and Piedmont if anyone needs them. Just missing Albies for my set.

Broke 40 in series 5:

Cycle: bichette, mccovey
Old Mill: Nola, Seaver
Polar: Mattingly, Sabathia
Sovereign: may(x2), McGwire,Nola, mccutcheon
Sweet Cap: Swanson, Jeter, w. smith, Chapman, banks(X2), Clemens, killebrew, Seaver, Molina, d.smith, verlander.

Collation complaints: 12 missing piedmont. Came within one base mccutcheon of not even finishing a base set. 40 packs. One completed base set.

in with everyone else, this has been my favorite rip this year. and it's nice to be sharing that with a group of people who aren't bitching about the product all the time and are enthusiastic about it!

i only bought a few of every wave, including 4 and 5... wave 4 came in thursday — voit polar bear, cruz sovereign, goldschmidt caporal. i have consistently beat the odds each wave but have yet to hit any of the exclusive or serial-numbered backs. oh well!

i have complained about collation as well but i have also noticed. it's kind of nice, in a way, but also a tease when i have a piedmont but not a base

Agreed...as much as I've complained about collation, this has been fun and loved actually getting a product at MSRP too!

Got my 10 packs today. Was a fun rip. No idea what the odds are. Got 20 Piedmont, 4 Sweet Cap, 3 Sovereign, 1 Polar Bear, and one Cycle (McCovey). Pulled one LouBob, would've been nice to pull 2 but I pulled two Bichette and 3 May (2 Piedmont).

My only complaint -- and I admit that this is the most trite, insignificant complaint there could possibly be -- is that I wish they didn't put the chase backs in the back of the pack and, instead, had them randomly inserted in the packs. You rip the pack and immediately know if it's a dud or not. Would be cool if you had to check all the backs.

ha — i think this is fair, however trite. i started ripping with my eyes closed after wave 1 to give myself a little more excitement, so i feel you!

The chase back being the last card/first one you see was my favorite part haha! Loved knowing how many cards and how slow to slow-roll the reveal.
