If the Rays can't hit postseason Kershaw, they can't hit anyone else

the ONE player you overpay for is Mookie.

I was ripped in the red sox thread for criticizing the red sox owners who are more concerned about soccer than baseball.

Now the red sox are going to be a trainwreck for the forseeable future

The Rays might as well ask a fielder to pitch at this point

Man, I was hoping TB could make a series out of this, but they look ridiculously overmatched.

Its not over...everyone pick up these towels please. A lot of baseball to go and the Rays are still better than the Yankees and the Astros! I expect to see that team tomorrow.

Took Kershaw out too early. (Can’t even believe myself saying this), lol.

Rays actually hitting singles and not trying to knock every ball out of the park.

Weird, almost like pulling your ace after 80 pitches when he's dominating isn't the best idea.

I hope the Dodgers lose because of it.

Agree and good time to pull him regardless of how the inning went after. Last thing they wanted was for him to stay in and get hit hard in the 7th. Save him for later in the series too.

Has anyone seen an All-Star completely disappear in the postseason like Lowe has?

Mike trout? He plays a magic trick year after year and just disappears.

As much as I'd like to see the Rays win, it's exceedingly difficult to expect the Rays to compete when there are so many spots in their lineup where they simply don't produce. Post-season stretches are great and all for guys like Choi and Arozarena, but there's a reason they weren't heralded prospects.

Zunino is a terrible MLB hitter, Choi is a below-average first baseman, Renfroe is a pure power over hitting ability like Mark Reynolds, Kiermeier is a middling hitter at best, Yandy has terrible launch angles, Margot doesn't have much pop, and Arozorena may very well have ridden the month long hot streak of his career. The Rays have a lot of guys who wouldn't simply not start, they wouldn't ride the pine for the Dodgers.

Dodgers have more money than God and a farm system that keeps pace with the Rays. There's not much you can do when you're trotting out Zunino at catcher.
