Watching people in this thread consistently depict you as a radical leftist in debate has been solid entertainment btw.

My wife and I gave zero Fs about politics pre Covid/BLM protests. We actually kept guests in check when they would bring it up, and we still do. I'm always down to have a genuine conversation about a political subject or any subject, but we all know how these "conversations" go. Rabble rabble, unhinging escalates, <insert Trump/Biden/Obama comment>, and off the rails we go.

My wife is about as apolitical as they come. If I try to talk politics with her she just tunes me out. We don't have cable or satellite so she doesn't have to suffer through political talk shows but when I watched the debate and the town halls she just went upstairs to play on her phone. That's why I like coming here to talk politics; and I like the group here.

Overall, the authors estimate that the Biden agenda, if fully implemented, would reduce full-time equivalent employment per person by about 3%, the capital stock per person by some 15%, and real GDP per capita by more than 8%. Compared to Congressional Budget Office estimates for these variables in 2030, this means there would be 4.9 million fewer working Americans, $2.6 trillion less in GDP, and $6,500 less in median household income.

Also, interestingly, the Top 25 posters are the only members with over 25,000 posts.

I don't think she's going to vote. She made fun of me when she found out I was voting. A shameful moment for me since I vowed to never vote.

Haha that's probably a good thing.

I don't have to worry about divorce or anything. It's just that arguing sucks, so we avoid it. We are both older and I'm pretty sure he can't get anyone better and neither can I. We are stuck for the long haul, lol. I'm spending my afternoon making chili and homemade french fries for him and he's spending his day making money for me. It's an arrangement that works for both of us, haha, as long as we don't talk politics.

Real talk -- I'd sport that shirt any day.

This is me and DW. I had not seen my best friend in years but before he joined us on vacation I told him that we did not care to discuss politics. We are still best friends! I have my opinions but I don't bother to express them among friends or in the workplace. I am an American but work in Canada and they ALL want to know what's going on. I disappoint them.

Sounds like a great arrangement. My wife and I are both right at 40 but we've been together since we were in our late teens so I feel like we're an older married couple sometimes.

You are an old married couple with the divorce rate these days. I am in the same boat basically.

Even if you don't vote the same as I do, I hope that changes from here on out. Plenty of people legitimately fought and died to secure that right for us. I truly believe that it's our civic duty to vote.

Ok so as a Manager my new employee, who hasn’t even officially gotten the job yet, needs to take 4 days off?

How do you manage people with the inability to use basic grammar?

Happens. Wouldn't think into it to much. Could have already scheduled a vacation.

I'm not sure. I have several questions to ask him, but the only answer I've received is chocolate and vanilla.
