$125 per pack? Over $20 per card? Good luck to anyone buying Hoops at those prices. Can we please all just boycott a crap product like this so Panini learns a lesson?

Panini has already made their money on it. Doubt they really care all that much how this product that they know is garbage sells.

In that case, let’s teach BO a lesson that we won’t pay 7x SRP for a crap product. From their own Blowout Buzz post: “Packs will carry a suggested retail price of $18 ($72 per box).”

I wonder what percentage of MSRP Blowout it distributors pay for these products. If Panini is selling all wax above their MSRP, is that even legal?

We're getting more products at higher prices.

I don't think we're at the over saturation point yet, but the industry is moving in that direction.

Hopefully Panini was just running the presses and releasing new items since it is the year of Zion (similar to UD in 2003 with LeBron) and next year they will calm it down.

I don’t even know why they bother putting MSRP on anything anymore. I would also like to know how much BO and the other big guys are paying Panini for these. If SRP is $72 and Panini is selling these to BO for $36 or maybe less, then BO pricing this at $500 is straight up criminal. Before I get bashed by all the people who say “well, if people are willing to pay that much, then the sellers should charge that much,” the frustrating part here is that BO sets the market (or maybe they do this in collusion with the other big retailers). So when everyone sees BO price this at $500, it impacts the price that other distributors sell to hobby shops and makes it impossible to find anywhere else at a reasonable price. My LCS always tries to undercut BO by around 10% or so if they can, so if BO priced this at $250, I might actually be willing to pay around $225 at my LCS.

Thanks a lot, BO. Really cool. I appreciate you adding the MSRP per pack. Really solid work.

Panini milking this rookie class. They'll still be making 2019 products in 2022.

Panini just can’t help themselves. #AllChromeEverythang

All you have to do if you’re Panini is put out the same stuff over and over.

1) Take set
2) Reprocess
3) Pool big cards for j̶u̶n̶k̶i̶e̶s̶ customers

From Panini, to breaker, to your door. The way the hobby should be. Amen.

Retail at MSRP will be a no-brainer. Rest of Hoops Premium Stock seems suspect.

Up until this year I would spend around $800 a month with the Big 3. Since then $0

Another huge retail release is starting to cross into the realm of junk wax. For the good of the hobby it would be best to let this sit on the shelves and on eBay, or else Panini will print the hobby into oblivion. Can we be that organized and disciplined?

Has that ever worked?

I would buy this at retail just for something to open like so many others

Well maybe we aren’t at junk wax level then. We shall see how well the market soaks it up

And when I say retail, I mean actual retail (not hobby) at MSRP
