If he can provide multiple negative tests the days leading up to the event then I do not see the need for a virtual format. With that said I don't really think any of it really matters at this point, I do not see debates moving the needle much in either direction.

At this point in 2016 Clinton was up 4.6% which she expanded to 7% before undecided voters started to move towards Trump in large numbers and she went into the election with a 3.2% margin. Biden is currently up 10% with less undecided voters to move Trump's way. This is all about the ground game in the battleground States at this point.

That’s hilarious. I wonder if he ever found those aliens he was looking for.

How is this an acceptable retort? Gatherings went from not OK to OK. Science-based, or no?

I think in regards to the in person versus virtual debate issue, if I was the Biden camp, I'd be pretty annoyed by how lax the Trump camp was when observing COVID protocols and the following outbreak at the White House. The apparent flippant regard towards the rules and follow guidelines would be enough for them to say, we are not okay doing this in person when your camp shows no regards for rules and guidelines. With people in the Trump campaign still coming down with positive tests, I think the Biden camp has grounds for agreeing and pushing for a virtual debate.

And keep in mind, the rules are set up by a non-partisan group of people. This isn't the Biden camp dictating the rules. Trump just doesn't want follow the rules because it may not suit him. Too bad. I think it's a bad look for Trump. Dude is not having a good last few months leading up to the election. Can't think of one positive thing he's done to try and win this election.

People said they were ok. The science has never said they were ok.

This... makes no sense. After last night, I'm not surprised the unhinging has carried over into the next morning.

Exactly what it is, passive aggressive posts due to unhinging.

Correct, and a lot of those people that were saying they were ok were Democratic leaders and actual medical experts who are the same ones claiming to "follow the science".

At this time, I'm expecting a Biden win. When they repeal the tax cuts and create tax increases, the masses will feel they were lied to and he'll be done after 4 years.

Like most of the problems in the world today, people are to blame. Science is going to be what it is going to be. Don't blame science, blame people.

Exactly! It's like the guns don't kill people, people kill people argument. Science doesn't approve of protests, people approve of protests.

Ok, but when are we going to find reliable people to relay the "science" to us?

That's the question we should be asking. How can we take biases out of people. There's no reason why science should be a political talking point.

Again, great, but we're tired of taking peoples' word for it that "science" is king when the people running the science can't even agree on what is truth.

I agree. What I meant when I said "science" was the agencies we trust to relay the science. I was hoping context would carry me home on that one. My b.
