I unearthed some pretty cool stuff in my latest archeological dig thru the card closet. I knew I had a pair of tickets that I'd posted earlier in this thread, but I was surprised to find a Program, an Opening Night Commemorative Pin and a third ticket to Lebron's NBA Debut against the Sacramento Kings on Oct 29, 2003......

I’ve been chasing the Topps #221 in a PSA 10 for about a year now. I passed up chance to buy around last October for $600 as I told myself the price will go down. Then passed up opportunity at beginning of year to purchase for $1600. Same thoughts, it will go down. I was wrong both times.

I pulled out a BCCG 10 of the card I purchased back around 2004 for $19 (I actually keep a notepad of all my purchases). I’ve seen some of the stories about BCCG cards and some issues (I’ve had a BCCG 10 card that had a noticeable bend on one of the corners.)However, this one looked pretty good. I cracked it out and threw it into a bulk submission.

Got the notice of an up charge from PSA and I’ll gladly pay it.




It can now join the rest of the family.

Don't sell #@#@#@#@ until he retires or HOF. There may be a chance for a dip, but if prices don't dip that much, you are out.

I'm thinking it will be a Kobe type thing where he announces it early in his last year and it goes on building hype throughout that season-----that's when I'm selling.

I will keep the RCs and a few non-RC pieces. Always looking to add good stuff. But would rather focus on MJ. So either sell now or sell January. Leaning toward January when there is renewed interest in the NBA.

Collected these Kabooms in April and May. I feel like Nostradamus. A Lakers 2018 Kaboom ends tonight on Probstein. It's currently at 3.2k!













I bought two eTopps as well. I think these are beautiful cards- especially the encased ones.





And my 2003 TC ref. Bought it SGC 98 in 2009 for 340 bucks.



As a diehard Rockets fan, I have no issue whatsoever in saying GO LAKERS!

Yeah. Back during Last Dance I kinda saw through the Prizm craze and realized SSP is the way to go- not Prizm base. Figured LeBron would have the same hype as Jordan one day. Put both together and snagged what I could immediately. I'll be honest, I think I personally caused a portion of the run on this stuff. They are beautiful in hand, arwnt they?

I need the 15-16 and the 18-19 if anybody out there can help me complete the set...

Haha, that'd be amazing if you caused the run. Yeah, I'm generally not big on Prizm base, no knock on those who are just a personal preference thing. The Kaboom cards are beautifully designed, I'm also usually not an insert guy either but the Kabooms are the big exception for me! My fav is the 2016 just because I love that pose, it's vintage Lebron power dunk They also seem relatively rare no? I've mostly been looking for the 2016 Lebron Kaboom, they don't seem to pop up a lot.

And I agree, these Lebron Kaboom cards should be pretty solid in the long run. Shorter runs, beautifully designed, all-time player, what's not to like?! Good luck picking up the other two you are trying to nab. You tried the facebook groups?

Why would you even own any of this losers cards? His values were shot the second he walked off the court two seconds early in game 3. What little money you could have recouped went out the window as soon as that happened. My condolences.
