but the game is not for beginners, you need to have gaming experience and a gun

I played that for a few hours but never got into it. It just seemed like I was riding around on my horse most of the time. Does the travel get any better or do you always have to ride your horse all around the map?

Just finished The Last of Us 2 and wow, what an amazing game. Brilliant story and everything about it is so well done. I'd urge people to play the 1st AND leave preconceived notions about what should happen in the 2nd game at home. Enjoy the ride for what it is.

Playing Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 on the Switch. It's OK and a standard fare beat'em up but nothing special.

Waiting on Ghosts of Tsushima to arrive and then will start playing that.

I couldn't get into Red Dead Redemption II. It just felt too much and too boring for me after giving it a go for 10 hours. It felt like a lot of time to invest that I wasn't willing to put into it for a lot of downtime in the game. Felt the same way about Breath of Wild. Just not enough happening and a lot of walking/riding around.

Played Fall Guys for a while but been playing Among Us with randoms and with friends... it's much more fun playing while voice-chatting on discord, arguing who is the imposter among crewmates.

I started playing Among Us this week and not gonna lie my expectations were much higher for how much attention the internet is giving it. That said I have just been online with randoms, playing with friends and/or voice chat would definitely make it better

Madden 21 was terrible.
PGA 2k21 has been absolutely awesome. Relaxing and fun.
Slowly working my way through Destroy All Humans. It is good enough for what it is.
The Vanquish and Bayonetta HD remakes were great. Two of my favorite games from Xbox 360.
New Tony Hawk Remake is very fun. Too easy if anything - most of the score goals can be done in a single combo - but fun.

Currently playing MLB the Show 20 and doing some Twitch stream/YouTube content creation. It's been a lot of fun so far!

Will play Warzone and PGA 2K21 as well.

It's definitely not the same when you're typing during the discussion times as opposed to shouting above each other.

That being said, when it's 3 left with you, someone else, and the imposter and the imposter and the other guy are pleading their case with you to vote the other out, not gonna lie, that gives me high anxiety.

I bought a PS4 a couple years back just to be able to play The Show. It came with a free copy of Uncharted 4, a series which i have never played as i usually stick to the Xbox.

Dang that game was fun. The story and the game play were top notch. I am glad i finally decided to give it a try after sitting sealed on a shelf for a couple years. I must have really missed out on the earlier releases.

Just picked up a copy of Horizon Zero Dawn to try next.

I've been enjoying Among Us lately. The public lobbies are just wildly unpredictable but if you have a good group of friends it's a good game to waste some time on. Scheduling 10 friends though can kinda be difficult.

Finished Ghosts of Tsushima a few weeks ago. Got the platinum trophy for that and may dip back in and check out the New Game +. Finally got a Switch console and have been playing BOTW. I’m enjoying it so far but everything’s backwards from the PS4. Constantly hitting the wrong buttons during combat.

Super Mario Bros. 35 on the Switch

I'm not talking about the 3-game 3D platformer collection, but rather the Original SMB battle royale. It's one of those games us old-timers have an edge on the young kids, where knowing the levels and strategy wins over having lighting-fast reflexes.

I loved TLoU2, I love how you played as 2 opposing characters and learn to understand their motivations. Very polished game, well worth the wait.

Every year when the weather starts to get colder, I start to get an urge to start a new Skyrim playthrough. Happened again this year and I've spent a ton of time on it already. Still finding some things I've never seen before!

I can't wait for the next Elder Scrolls game. The next gen consoles should make for an amazing experience

Agreed 110%. As long as the player learns to give in to the story and learn to love each character, it is really a brilliant experience.

Playing Ghosts of Tsushima and just passed Act 1 after about 15-20 hours or so with almost 100% completion. It's starting to drag a bit and may have to jump to just doing the main storyline. The game is nowhere near as polished as TLOU2 and is becoming very repetitive.

Hit 400k gamerscore last week.

Been having a lot of fun lately with the Tony Hawk remake, new Crash Bandicoot, and Maneater.

Maneater was fairly short. However, it was really refreshing to play something different than what has been recycled through most of the current and previous generation. No unnecessary side missions or travel. You're just a shark. You eat things and get bigger and then you can eat bigger things. Occasionally you terrorize the local beaches. It was a lot of fun.

Worth starting over vs just hammering out random quests once the main storyline is done? Not sure if I can go back and do any of the guild storylines or not, I skipped most of them.

Probably depends on what you've done in the past. I typically start completely over with a new character and do whatever I want to do in the given playthrough (certain race or play type, etc etc). Will start the main storyline but since that's what I know well, whenever I get bored I'll just switch to something else. I'm still finding plenty of side quests I've never done before which keeps me busy and interested

I've played 998 games between xbox 360 and xbox one. Games 999 and 1,000 will be the new Monster Truck game and then Star Wars Squadrons.

Does anyone remember Monster Truck Madness 2 for PC? That game was awesome.
