Purchased this from CherryCollectables December 19 direct from their website. Card was also listed on Ebay for a while.

Finally received the refund from Paypal today after it arrived back to Australia earlier this week.

Be on the look out for it, as it will likely be put up for sale again with no pics, or mention of the damage.

Its surface creases not scratches.

I wondered about asking for a replacement but I don't know if that's possible since I didn't pull it from a box. I'm assuming not. Would love to know what happened to this thing.

You must be rolling in dough, because if I paid $1000-2000 for a card (I assume that's what he paid) I'd want it in a lot better shape...now, if the OP "stole" it for like $80 or something, yeah, I'd keep it.

I signed up with worthpoint and checked Ebay listings and could not find a comp since the Black Gold Prizms are so elusive.

All other Kobe prizm parallels seems to sell for about 40% to 50% of Lebrons, does make you wonder, are Kobe's still too undervalued?

I feel he is and I’m not biased. I don’t own any high end Kobe’s. Just look at Kobe’s refractor RC’s vs Lebron’s. The gap is too wide like you said, but that’s just an opinion. I know there are other factors there too, such as some of Lebron’s Refractor RC’s are numbered etc. Still, I think there may be a market correction in a few more years.

I missed the post above about a Lebron Black Gold selling for $9800. So, $5000 should be a fair deal.
