Bad News - My 26 card submission return was stolen. The UPS driver pulled up to my house while I was outside watering the lawn. I walked up to his truck because I knew I was going to have to sign. The driver said he couldn't find my package in his truck. He said it was probably loaded on the wrong truck. I've been on the phone with UPS multiple times a day for the past 4 days. I've submitted a claim but imo the package was stolen by someone on the UPS night crew. I live in Southern California, the last scan was at the UPS center in Baldwin Park CA. Beware!

And this is where DV comes in. Hopefully the insurance on the package was up to snuff. Well hopefully they find it, but if not, hopefully insurance was adequate.

My local UPS warehouse (Missouri City TX) just had 2 employees arrested last week for stealing $30k + worth of packages. I'm hoping that also means that'll deter any future potential thefts.

wow that worries me, my packages goes to that center all the time. im located in la puente. ive had times where it was shown out for delivery. UPS comes and thinking there is a package for me but ends up being a delivery for my neighbor. I asked the UPS driver and he says he sees a delivery for me but not in his truck. Next day comes a long and it does show up. This isnt for PSA package though.

Hoping this doesn't happen to me in the future.... what city are you located in if you dont mind me asking?

Well, I figured DV on raw card comps ($10,000). I only got 6 PSA 10's out of the 26 cards, so I'll probably take a loss. The biggest bummer is - I was trying to complete the Donruss Optic My House Gold set, now that'll never happen since I lost 2 Gold Coby White PSA 10's and a Gold Tatum PSA 9.

I'm in the Pasadena area. I've been so depressed...I've never taken a loss like this.

I much prefer usps to ups when possible. I had a PSA delivery via UPS last week. Wed got notice it was out on the truck for delivery... wednesday night get a notice delivery was pushed to the next day... thursday get a note it’s out for delivery, then thursday afternoon another note they can’t deliver it because of the weather...finally i just said hold it and I’ll come get it and drove 20 min to pick it up myself friday.

Just received notice that my latest bulk sub was just received today! (Not in the system yet, but assurance that they have it and the package is safe!).

That's nice! Glad PSA has this feature now (thanks to the barcode!). Looks like they are really trying to give the best CS possible!

This was my first bar-coded submission too! In the past, we had to use the USPS tracker to see when it was delivered to PSA. Now, they just scan the barcode to know who sent it and what the service level is.

So, the barcode told them it was me, and it automatically shoots an email to me alerting me they have the box!

Nice add on IMO!

nice! i’m sitting here getting constant text updates from usps on my packages movements lol. will see who alerts me first when the package is delivered, usps or psa.

Yeah i believe you can chose UPS, USPS or Fed Ex when you submit. It defaults to UPS though.

How can I tell when PSA officially receives an item? I shipped a package with tracking a couple weeks ago and it has been marked delivered but PSA never sent me a notification that they got the package. It was sent at the economy service level.

Up until recently you just had to rely on the tracking from whoever you shipped with to know it was there. PSA is taking roughly a month to show its received into the work flow from the time it’s actually delivered to them.



Just recently they added a barcode to the process that you put on the outside of your package and they scan that as soon as the package is delivered and it sends an email letting you know they have it.



With yours though since it was likely before they started the barcode process, you just rely on the tracking from your carrier to know it’s delivered, and within about 30 days from that date PSA will email to tell you they have received it.

Use the Find My Package tool on the website. Enter the tracking number and it will tell you if they have your package in their possession. As stated above though, it will take several weeks for your package to make it into the system, but the Find My Package tool lets you know that the package has safely arrived.

The VX 4 was a 2018 Panini Ozzie Albies Black Auto 1/1 lol. I will take a photo and make a thread about it when it shows up. I thought it was a 9. Either the grader dropped it in his coffee or I was extremely drunk when I subbed it. Overall I'm happy with the results. Some cards gemmed that thought were 8s and some I thought were 10s graded out at 7s
