I’m sure Mantle cards started to drop when he wasn’t able to produce in his final years when he batted .245 in 1967 and .237 in 1968.

I’m not saying that the prices never go back up.. if they had a legendary career, they do. I’m just saying: during the physical twilight years, most of the time, their card prices drop. That is it.

My point is they’ve been hobby kings since 2000 and 2001. That’s 20 years. Both are considered the GOAT in their leagues by many. I simply implied they’ve carried their hobby stardom and popularity for the better part of two decades.

His timing looks to be just a *tick* off right now. He has just gotten a little under some hittable balls the last couple games. Get that timing right and the HRs will follow shortly

Seems like some bargains on some pretty awesome Trout cards in this months Goldin auction. Only a day left and plenty are half where I'd expect them to be.

I agree. He mentioned that in an interview as well. GW RBI was nice last night.

I think it was 19k plus 20%. Which seems low to me.
