That is true. Local news has remained relatively consistent with how they report things.

I'm surprised there is not a network that has devoted itself to the "First Take" or "Undisputed" style of programming. If you have an anchor who simply brings up facts of the day, and then had a smart left and smart right debate style atmosphere to discuss the event, I think it would be good T.V.

Get Molly Qerim (jk but you get the idea) or whomever, have them say "Today, Arab countries signed the Abraham Accords blah blah blah" or "Today, Trump was accused of sexual assault by so and so (I know, I know) and then have the two people go back and forth. Too often the major news networks have a token republican or token democrat who get drowned out by the rhetoric of the channel ... instead I think that smart young politicans can come on the show and "battle". May raise their star power a bit too.

I'd watch. I'd laugh. I'd enjoy and I think others would too.

It sounds great and I would watch as well. I keep waiting but the networks seem to continue to head in the opposite direction. Maybe there will be a breaking point.

But no. What I ask for is simple. I posted links to columns in NYT Fashion pages, Variety, Vanity Fair etc. I'm looking for a single time when any fashion site, magazine, editor of a fashion page for the MSM said something negative about Michelle Obama or questioned her look, outfit, wardrobe etc. There are ample examples of this treatment of Melania but I cannot find a single time when someone who is in fashion, displayed this kind of attitude toward Obama.

Showing me times Fox news called her out is of no consequence to me. I admit there are thousands. That is not my point.

Get me Senator vs. Senator. House member vs. House member. Shapiro vs. the left Shapiro (sorry, don't really know who to put in there).

Give them a day to prepare and then have them debate three topics for an hour or two. Let's hear what the best of both parties have to offer in terms of ideas, rhetoric and thought.

Princeton chancellor says the school has "racism" embedded in it, so the DOE is opening an investigation into the alleged racism.

There's got to be some middle ground between "America is and has always been perfect" and "whitey is evil and everything is evil".

We are a country. That's it. We aren't some divine beacon of hope for the universe to flock to. We've got a sh!t ton of land, are fairly isolated from other countries, and have gotten pretty lucky (up until now) with our leadership.
