It's a good ruling and will prevent him from doing this again should COVID cases increase in the winter. They'll be an appeal (and a possible stay) but gone are the days of businesses closing "because he says so".

I feel sometimes I am reading the posts of people whose pre-frontal cortexes have not fully developed. I understand to "Immediate-Nature" of social media these days. I think 20 years from now they would think very differently, but are not capable of it now.

I noticed a member post he worked at age 10 (illegal, right), but was now 23. 23?

So this may open myself up to backlash but this was an opinion that was expressed to me by my father who is very high risk and vulnerable if he got covid.

He said instead of Stay and Home orders, money handouts, etc. Why not dump the money into taking care of the vulnerable allowing them to stay home and allow the rest of the world go on.

For what it is worth, I would have been good with this. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, it was not an option that was brought up.

That is not a bad idea at all. Narrowing down who is actually vulnerable would be an issue. I had two employees (hard line right wingers) who were freaking out and attempting to get out of work despite being labeled essential. If it’s as easy as filling out paperwork then we’d have lots of people hosing the system.

I’m all for getting back to normal.

The system for narrowing it down would've taken some work, but i think it could have been done.
