How many base chrome and refractors on average?

40 to 50 is my best guess.

In the OP Houdini posted an educated guess at about 15. Remember, the HTA case has no base. There are 5 hobby cases with base.
Double check but I think he explains the odds and the gamble well in the OP.

Expect 15 to 20 base chrome in 10 cases, bid accordingly.
