My rolling Target stock thread

Magic was almost completely wiped out today from my local Walmart. 1 pack left. Hasnt been sports cards for several weeks

Did you get the hangers? I've only seen blasters and gravity feed (both in limited quantity) so far.

My target moved cards to a small endcap in the toy section next to the card games aisle. They had Archives megas available. But weird to see the blank area where the sports cards used to be just left to decay when this new endcap is in play.

At least yours had that lol...empty pegs..empty gravity box of Stadium Club and a box of MLB Stickers (oh yes..and the two blasters of 19-20 UD hockey that have been there forever) and Topps Attax. I can never tell if the cards have been stocked (obviously stocked last week because I saw the empty Stadium Club gravity feed then) or everyone just took everything

Went in again this week and saw this. I got 4 Stadium Club blasters. I bought 2 and my wife bought 2. I kind of like that they are doing this at this one Target. It has been the only way I could find them at this one. Hope they keep this up and hope to be able to buy some basketball next season.

I already busted 2 megas/hobby boxes and a few blasters of fire last week so I wasn’t interested in that. Went with the Stadium Club because I have heard good things and have not ever opened any. All of this stuff will be gone soon.

I would have gotten some more Chrome if they had the blasters. For some reason I didn't want to use my 2 for only 2 of those packs. I have opened a lot of Chrome this year and really like it.

I love those topps chrome hangers...I've had much better luck than the blasters, had about 40 sealed, down to 28, hard to keep them sealed as a long term hold lol

Some do. Some don't. Depends on the store. Have yet to see any Target around me with limits however.

exact opposite here.. 15 or so cellos have been trash, but 8 or so blasters have yielded Robert Auto, Lux Auto, Lux Prism, Acuna Refractor, multiple base Roberts’s... only thing i’m still missing is a Robert refractor of some type!

I'm assuming signs like this are put there by employees who collect, so they can grab their share.

Is there anything at the register that actually limits people from buying more than two? If so, what would stop guys from going to the self checkout and just scanning two, paying, and doing it all over again?

1) Wrong. They are put there by store management in order to take care of as many customers as possible.

2) Self checkout has a monitor whose job it is to ensure proper procedures are being followed.

The employees (assuming they are knowledgeable on the policy). All of my Targets have employees at the self-checkout keeping an eye on things and they always look at what I'm buying. The limits are meant to be for the day in general as I understand (at least that's the policy at the 1 Target around me that enforces this). So, you couldn't just walk back in the store and buy more.
