Went to my local target, 4 people waiting before me.
Vendor put out at least 50 Topps Chrome Cellos, 10+ Topps Fire 'Hobby' boxes and like 20 Fire blasters. Sadly no basketball, but the chrome will be fun to open.

It is actually pretty cool now that I have started to follow it a little bit. But, the whole re-print idea of releases from years ago is so odd to me. Can you imagine Topps just randomly re-printing 2018 Update? Or panini re-printing 2017 Prizm? There are Pokemon releases from years ago that just randomly get re-printed. Still doesn't seem to destroy the value much for the more popular releases.

Found about 6 gravity packs of Donruss and about 4 gravity packs of Stadium Club. All of the Topps Fire that was there yesterday was gone eh no big loss.

Saw a red lined & writing box today that the vendor opened, it had gaming cards in it.

Mosaic FB is coming out soon. You should at least pick that up if you come across it. I'm sure it's going to be very popular, just like the BKB release.

Well, I didn't say that it ONLY had sports cards in it. I could easily be wrong, but since they changed to the red / blue boxes I've never seen the blue ones have sports cards in them. There are two targets near me that will open the boxes if I ask and that has been my experience.

Yeah I literally just found out yesterday they do this. Still don’t have a very good understanding of reprinting but I hate the idea. I’m mostly browsing eBay for good condition vintage. But it’s nice to be able to find something at retail to rip while still getting the rush of the chase.

This is not true. The box color and the color of the lines across the boxes are irrelevant to what is in the box. If the box has a pink shipping label it gets located in toys which means it is Pokemon. There is a specific color label for street dated product as well. Otherwise it can be any product and is intended for the excel wall.

But I do understand your sentiment, basketball retail seemed like it gained popularity quick, dont see why football wouldnt.

I thought the same thing: red boxes having sports and blue was more gaming..
In recent times that I have seen the vendors opening boxes, red had gaming and blue had both sports and gaming. I'm sure it can always change, I just dont understand how they the distribution centers load the boxes.

The only boxes I definitely know that have sports in them are the ones labeled "place on floor for display for immediate sale" or something of that word/phrasing. I have seen sports in those boxes 100% of the time, but you know, 2020 is some weird timing, it could change by now.

Went to the local Target and they had a lot of Topps Chrome Cellos so I picked 1 up and left the rest. Also had Topps fire megas and left those as well. Another Target I went to had 2020 Donruss football and bought a few packs .

Duarte Target. Tons of toys and gaming cards but little else. Getting to be a familiar sight at area stores for one reason or another. It's not like this Target has a lot of foot traffic either. Only spotted a couple of customers looking for pokemon.

Topps needs to stop coming out with reprint,archive, berger, etc cards. AND I hate to stay this , but the Heritage line needs to stop. If it's not an original card design, I don't want it.

I gotta agree with you its gotten old, alot of pelike it though, i tend to stick to topps chrome and flagship now and that's almost it now a days

I've been trying to get my hands on Chrome baseball since the release date. Haven't round one single pack or blaster since that day. I've stopped in local Target's and Walmarts very often since I pass them daily on my commute. Only chance I've had is a guy charging $48 for a blaster at a local card show. I refuse to pay over a 100% mark up out of principal. It's really disappointing. Had no issues finding anything in stock for the last 10 years or so. 2020 I guess

All San Gabriel Valley Targets have NOTHING. I have yet to see 1 pack. It always looks just like your picture. I’m starting to wonder if they ever hit the floor. I don’t see anyone else looking around for them either.

Is Wal-Mart selling cards online still from them. I only see them insane toy companies selling them on Walmart Com. Targets in my Area seem to be squeezing cards section into small area and Pokémon n toys is getting larger

Wally online is a joke now. Beyond rarely finding anything actually good at MSRP, they sell stuff themselves, even garbage stuff, at prices jacked up above MSRP. And even if you sort to only show listings by Wally, and not the third-parties, it sometimes still includes the third-parties.
