I'm sure Topps highlighted every transaction that had a resale license number attached to it. Since it's one per person, they could technically justify cancelling every order except one since it's being bought under that license number. I guess you could argue the business is owned by more than one person though.

If there is a way to upload a resale certificate to Topps.com I am going to feel very foolish for paying taxes. I have multiple resale licenses but still have to pay tax on Topps' website. There is no information/forms that I can find online. If anyone knows how to do this I'd be curious to know.

The product was available on the Topps App to add to cart and people were then able to checkout through the website online. So non-raffle winners were able to place orders on the website since generally the product link isnt viewable unless you win the raffle. Guessing thats where all these cancels came from.

Maybe checking out through the app didn't apply the tax or shipping. Would be a good way for Topps to identify the illegitimate buys.

Probably why they're not going to start shipping until Friday - vetting all the orders, possible second chance on Tuesday or Wednesday, shipping on Friday. I'm debating ripping mine, decent chance to hit something nice and I like the look of the autos and those die cut inserts. Will depend how prices on the sealed boxes are trending in a week.

I ain't in the game and I don't think this will have the same appeal of a Finest Flashback but will be super hype out the gate. First set of breaks Houdini posts will sell out in a few minutes. I expect if a big Robert pops out early these could get super hot.
