I honestly feel like Madden 21 has played smoothly so far. There has been a lot of improvements within the run game, which I like a lot. Obviously, it isn't perfect at this point, but I think it is a little better than Madden 20 at this stage. They will patch it though, which will make things faster and run smoother. But I wouldn't say it is deserving of getting the lowest Metacritic User Review score ever.

I think the gameplay is better than last year. I am not good at the game this year LOL. I know from watching YouTubers that everyone is struggling on defense, but I don't have any answers. And my last 3 games have been against guys who run strictly pistol bunch the entire game and that gets frustrating after awhile.

That is one reason i quit in October last year. Once the ebooks come out everyone runs the same formation w/ a few different route combos and they carve you up. It gets annoying.

I know. I have a bad feeling mut maybe trash this year unless you’re pay to play. If that’s the case I’m selling my 1.7 million and playing franchise this year. I don’t mind grinding for my team but these rewards don’t even give you anything.

We have been listening to your feedback and are targeting mid-November for the first of the three planned post launch franchise updates, which will address community requests including:

1 - X-Factor/Superstar Ability Customization: This highly requested feature by the community allows commissioners to assign X-Factors to any player via the edit player feature. Once a player has met the criteria to unlock an X-Factor ability, commissioners will be able to edit their player's Superstar abilities and Superstar X-Factor ability by selecting from those available within his position group. Users will have control over this functionality in both offline and online Franchises.

2 - Player Card Career Stats UI: A top community request for several years now, the team is revamping the statistics on the player card to include more context in season stats, like week, opponent, and outcome, while also providing what team the player was on for every year of their career.

3 - Dev Trait Regression Tuning: The team is doing tuning work to player development traits in Franchise mode to ensure a proper balance of Superstar and X-Factor players when progressing multiple years in a Franchise.

4 - Playoff Bracket: A visual playoff bracket will be added into the game that reflects the new Wild Card format, allowing users to see the full playoff picture.

these do not seem like the top 4 concerns in franchise to me, or most of the things i have read. these (once again) seem mostly cosmetic.
