Kawhi’s play is solid, especially down the stretch in games. Clips are going to be a difficult out the next few years.

I love Luka, but he is neither winning the MVP or bringing his team to the Finals in his third NBA season. Especially not with the current Mavs roster and not with the players/teams that are in the West.

I don't wanna derail this thread but: Why can't Luka win MVP? He should be the co-favorite with Giannis next season. He was a Top 5 finalist this year, why won't he get better and take it?

Because it takes more than being last seed in your conference to say you led your team to a successful season. Why should he be considered a front running leader for an MVP when he hasn't done that at the very least?

Technically second to last seed. Likely got beat by the 2020 Champs. Single handedly beat them on a bum ankle. Legitimately should have won 3 games if Kristaps hadn't got the poor treatment.

Well lets see it happen and let them finish first in that conference before we crown him.

Unless my early predictions that the MVP awards is going to really get watered down and becomes a popularity contest whereby its given to a player that does not deserve it. Thats where I see it going anyways.

Huh? MVP thing is over for Giannis. Great feel good story and all that (didn’t he sell trinkets or something?) but you can’t absolutely fail every single time when it counts and not expect people to move on.

How quickly many forget it took a buzzer beater by Kawhi to eliminate Butler last year when he was with the Sixers.
Don't be surprised when you see Butler & Kawhi going at it again this year in the finals.

Atlanta has the pieces and Bucks aren't going to sign anyone marquee with their cap situation. Collins and Reddish/Hunter/2020 R1 pick.

Atlanta has money to make a run for 2 top FA players in 2021, they are going to be really good with Trae as the cornerstone.
