Here’s my haul

4 megas from target
17 blasters from target and Walmart (17 from eBay at $48 average after tax) 34 total
48 fat packs from Walmart (30 from eBay at $16 average after tax) 78 total
24 hangers from target and Walmart (16 from eBay at $36 average after tax) 40 total

Tax sucks lol

Opened 15 fat packs, 2 blasters, and 3 hangers, nice hits and assortments of Ja’s and Zions. The rest will be held long term, hopefully we see similar prices to last year one day.

I've never been able to hold but I'm about to put myself to the test. I've NEVER bought retail, except at MSRP(beyond a few group breaks). Well, I just did. 3 mega's and 6 hangers and they are to HOLD. If I can't manage to hold these(175 per mega and 35 per hanger)...then there is no hope for me to ever hold anything I get. Haha!

You got it, just think about all the bad breaks you’ve had and imagine that’s what happens if you open them lol. Also look at sealed basketball prices all this year, another incentive to hold long term.

Box it up and put it in a closet where it’s out of sight out of mind. If you walk past it constantly on the kitchen table you will rip it lol.

After all I opened, still left with 20 Megas, 15 hangers and a fat pack box all bought on the secondary market. Part of me wants to hedge out, but the other part of me says hold it all.

I’m sure they’re out there. If you search you wont find any Ja either but I have 2 and lost bid on a 3rd. Might need to browse completed auctions for Silvers and see if anyone caught a sneaky one

Problem is, this year at least, I've done close to as well(in some cases better) opening, selling singles and grading.

I've already opened roughly $1,300 at MSRP. So I have PLENTY of singles haha. Good suggestion though. Off to Target I go to get a storage container. I tend to leave them in my office and eventually open. Maybe if I hide them, after a while, I'll forget they're there. Haha

More likely, he was alerted by somebody on this forum looking to snipe. I think that's even more ridiculous given the seller knew exactly what he was selling and he set the price and I paid over $160 for it with taxes and delivery. Not like the seller mislisted as a $20 base card because he wasn't aware. Just hope you're happy with ruining your karma to whoever anonymous blowout user is so you can maybe make $50 on a resale. I've been working on a Ja crusade rainbow and have a few more Ja crusade cards coming so thank you for keeping the card out of the hands of an actual collector

I also won a BIN for a silver Ja Phoenix (he misprinted it for a base) for 40 dollars yesterday and seller cancelled for a BS reason and relisted for 120. Probably Tipped off by someone on here lol.

Yeah I have all my wax just chilling in boxes in my spare bedroom. I practically forget it’s there. At Walmart you can buy big boxes for about $1.99 lol.

I picked up a zion silver phoenix off a FB group. Dude priced it out in a zion lot as the base phoenix. got 10 chronicles cards including the phoenix silver for $135 haha.
