Here’s a few more to share.

Golds...

A few of my favorite low numbered XRC/RC...

Pink Topps Chrome Rookie Auto /5 is at PSA currently. Was a BGS true gem + but had a 9 auto. Trying to get it to a PSA 10.

I collect Nolan hard, 2013US -- Current. I'm only missing sapphire from 2013US and wish I wouldn't have been so 'cheap' when some popped up a few years ago. 10s of Base / Base chrome / Emerald / Camo ... 9s of Black Chrome / Gold paper / Pink / Red and 8s of Black / Gold Chrome / Blue

All but the black chrome were bought rock bottom <$20 each back when they first came out.

Honestly, who has been more consistent at a superstar/franchise player level. He plays 155 every year, hits at least 35 dingers and drives in 120 and produces the best defensive compilation reel every year

Wow, this thread heated-up quickly!

Some of these cards I've never seen before. And it's great that so many were purchased at rock bottom. The cost of starting a Nado collection today is considerably higher.

Saw the emerald green raw go for like $75-80 on ebay auction and thought "why is he so cheap"??

Love seeing the Arenado cards!!! I collected a few when he was a rookie but stopped. Oops! One of my biggest regrets in the hobby. At least I get to enjoy seeing him at Coors. In my profile pic I have his bowman chrome auto red refractor rookie. NFT/NFS at the savings deposit box.

That's a monster and might just pay for a house one day!

So true... no one can truly appreciate his efforts until you watch him. Almost every game he does an amazing play and/or has a good offensive day. I can't think of a better 3bman in history if he continues to stay healthy and produce like he has been each year.

Love Nolan. Special player. Don't have a stash but I got lucky years ago and got this.

This thread is long overdue. I'll add some of mine when I get home, but I don't have anything as impressive as some of you. I am, sadly, that cheap Rockies fan the guy on page 1 was talking about. Nolan is my favorite Rockie, but it's hard for me to pull the trigger on one Nolan when I could get five Storys for the same price. I'll learn someday.

We can't let this thread die!

Nolan's average this year isn't looking too hot, but there are TONS of bright sides in the numbers:

1. He has only K'd 7 times in 94 AB's -- incredible!
2. His BABIP is only .181 -- 120 basis points below his career BABIP!!
3. Increased both Launch Angle and Barrel %

Watching most AB's, I've noticed he's out in front a lot and has popped out quite a bit (as represented by the increased Launch Angle). It seems he's one small tweak from a hot streak. With Chuck batting in front of him, he should be leading the league in RBI's right now. Hopefully we see that hot stretch begin this weekend.

I wonder if the owner of the 2016 Update AS Arenado SSSP Truck hangs around Blowout... I still believe that card is a 1/1, have never seen any other copies.

(Not my card, I kept a picture of it.)

It's the main reason why I never tried for an SP flagship run of Arenado - I knew that Truck card would leave a big hole in the collection.

Mookie Betts had one similar to it - not sure if there's been multiple copies of it or not.
