Have a feeling we're going to eclipse the 400b cap soon. What a beautiful looking market.

Bitcoin is going to be deemed a financial tool for terrorist financing and the US Justice Department is going to crack down on, also hitting Chinese Miners. At same time markets will crash and the rise of the new regulatory friendly platform.

They've already started seizing accounts

Gold and Silver will continue to rise IMHO

I think that is unrealistic. I believe it will be higher by end of the year.

I absolutely despise sounding like one of those maximalist nutjobs, but I'd be more surprised if btc doesn't eclipse the previous 20k high sometime soon. This is post halving dejavu pt. 3.

Apparently has one of the strongest technological premises. I'm always a bit weary jumping in on coins that've experienced 150% growth in a week, but you just never know with crypto.

Figured this would be as good a place as any to ask this question. I'm a newbie to this type of stuff. My only experience is giving my cousin 1k several years ago to buy EOS, knowing nothing more than he said to try it. I sent him 1k and he sent me back 3k(bought at 5ish sold at 15ish). Fast forward to today and I'm retired and bored. So, I'm going to put a few K towards whatever I think might give me a good return.

Long winded way of asking this question. Does everyone use and/or suggest using coinbase? Seems to be the one that pops up most often when I search to see where exactly to do my trading. Thanks for any advice and sorry to semi-hijack your bitcoin thread!

For US based residents, coinbase is pretty much the way to go. Plus they're domestic and backed...so they're probably the most trustworthy place to store your crypto vs. any other exchange. Though I always suggest storing your coins locally for peace of mind, especially if this is a long term investment. All questions welcomed, brother. This is a mini crypto resource/discussion!

Really liking the prospects of LINK, OCEAN, COTI, and the soon to be released ALBT. Still accumulating DOT as well.

Made my account a few days ago and have made my first few purchases all on my own...haha! I feel old but I tend to get to a point with "new" stuff where I think..."This is actually worth money". Didn't get crypto at all at first. Didn't get it when I first bought some(through my cousin) and to be honest I still don't fully get it. But, what I do get is, it is worth money and will likely continue to be worth money. I like money, so I'm throwing darts at a board until I fully understand what I'm doing(which will be awhile!).

Thanks for the response! I appreciate it

I'll have to look into the ones mentioned. I know bitcoin is likely the safe(safest maybe?) bet AND I know you can buy fractions of one...just so damn expensive right now. I like the lower buy in stuff until I get comfortable with this.

So uh. Looks like BitMexico is the next in a long line of exchanges to bite the dust...soon. Money laundering among several other charges.

Just another day at the bitcoin office. Looks like it's triggered a rather substantial sell-off. Just a minor bump in the road. Been there; done that x 10.

What does your tea leaves tell you @ninjacookies? Winter over or another fakeout?
