Tax cuts could very well be Trump's golden ticket.

Interesting. Do the Obamas think donating to Biden would be a waste of money?

Do you consider this news? Or worthy of discussion? Is this what passes for facts (or even a thoughtful opinion) these days?

Please forgive my curiosity, but a donkey with a snorkel jammed in its left ear could find basic fundraiser information regarding a couple guys with last names of "Clooney" and "Obama" who have raised well over $10 million for a guy named "Biden."

As you know, personal donations are capped, so I don't think that a few grand from the Obamas will make much of a difference.

If I were to glean anything from this article, it's that it's nothing more than the meandering words of a nincompoop.

But you do you, enjoy the words you enjoy.

Nope, did nothing for me, in fact I lost 500 on my tax return this year and I made almost as much as the previous year.

Putin + killing USPS + voter intimidation = anything to win

This is a sick person running our country.

Trump says he will send law enforcement, US attorneys to polls in November to prevent fraud

I'm sorry, but with the hate that is going on and personally having parents that work at polls in a pretty large town I'm all for some sort of protection at polls. It was bad enough when Obama was running. It could be worse this time.

I know personally that several local polls are asking for some sort of protection.

Lots of giddiness coming from the left this morning.
He gave a speech folks, and had several months of practice in his basement.
I suppose when the cupboards been empty for so long you gotta grasp on to anything you can.
Bring on the debates.

Today's Senate hearing with DeJoy will be interesting.

The one thing I am curious to know about is: If you want to reduce overtime, why dismantle and take out of service (not move to other locations as was said earlier in this thread) sorting machines?
I can only imagine manual sorting vs a machine would increase overtime.....

As a VERY small sample size - my daughter sent me my birthday gift from South Carolina to North Carolina - it took 4 days to get to me (and we live 1.5 hours apart)

I think it is more of a remembrance of what it was like to listen to a leader who uses complete sentences.

It was a very good speech, Right and Left are both saying it. It had empathy and passion and was presented well. Honestly - it reminded me of R Reagan and his speeches...... just me.

I am looking forward to the GOP convention and listening to them as well.

A lot of this speech he read last nite was verbatim from his previous speech, Charlottsville, neo nazis marching, veins bulging from their heads......

But I concour when the cupboard is bare.

I see it like this, if there are no audience members then Biden has a clear advantage as was the case when he debated Sanders 1v1. Audience, edge goes to Trump as is generally the case because he feeds off the energy. I'd imagine that for the first one there will be no or limited audience as it's in Cleveland and we are in one of the higher risk areas of the state right now.

Trump would get my vote if he put an end to this “unemployment” farce. It’s nothing more than welfare with another name. Any true Republican who is getting unemployment should turn in their voter registration card. There are plenty of jobs out there to be had, people are picking and choosing like they’re soon to be high school seniors. Any job is better than depending on WORKING Americans footing your bills.

Agent Orange could kick a puppy, slap a baby, grab a p, yell he’s going to build a wall and get cheered by the crowd.

Such high standards we have for electing the most powerful person in the world. Wow, Biden was able to read a written speech without rambling some non-sense; now let's see if Trump can do it!

I get that both Dems and Republicans are playing political games with the whole relief package but it's still pretty jarring to hear Pelosi come straight out and admit she won't do a clean bill to keep funding unemployment:

"“I don't think, strategically, it's where we should go right now, because the Republicans would like to pass something like that and say, forget about it”.

I think it’s safe to say we need a new speaker. Do Dems even still back her?
