All I want to do is talk about COMC

From a submission I sent in February, was suppose to be processed in April, and finally was in June, I still have (at least) 2 cards not uploaded. Both are Draymond Green 1/1s. So confused why they haven't been processed. I have emailed COMC (of course they don't respond), not sure what the next step is, on twitter they'll just say to email. Do they act differently on instragram?

And if they are searching investors as someone wrote previously the investors has to be mad to invest in this one even by looking at how these people are handling their business. Was it in that podcast where the comc guy said he's coding up some changes by himself? Good effing luck lol...

If I was an investor I wouldn't invest a dime in this garage project, I would rather buy it and hire professional people to handle things. The concept is good but it's very outdated and if they doesn't step up they won't get anywhere. Why invest in project like this when with a good money and latest innovations you can create a clone which is better managed and handled?

Do you all think that Panini and Topps are sleeping after Upper Deck e-pack? This is a big money year for trading card hobby and I bet someone has something going.

I know several businesses that failed not because of revenue but they expanded too much and basically got too big for their own good.

Also there is the issue of how the money is used and debt issues. They certainly dont use it for updating the website ir into customer service or even advertising. So where is it going? Any smart investor will want to see that info.

People who believe sales are the only thing that matters in success are only fooling themselves and really have no clue about business. Yes sales are part of it but there are other factors as well.

Yeah, I have around 5 cards not processed from a submission that was originally due 3/27. One is a 1/1 hockey card and others are more obscure issues if I remember correctly.

It seems like they put the obscure or 1/1 stuff to the back burner as it most likely needs to be uploaded with new descriptions manually since it would be the first on the site.

I had a few lingering obscure cards from another batch that was also due 3/27 finally upload about 2 weeks ago, so hopefully that means they are working on catching up on the "leftover" obscure stuff not processed yet.

Paid for rushed economy shipping for about a 40 card order and it got to me in about 10 days. Cost me $15.

Got thousands of cards waiting to be added into the system though. Could be making a killing with the stuff I sent in before the summer.

I have a few thousand cards still processing with them. They were all sent in current year 3-week service level with original due dates ranging from 7/23-8/26, nothing posted from all 3 of those submissions yet.

Looks like they are currently doing due dates from 6/29-7/13 on that service level, which tells me they are about 2 months behind on those. Agreed, hiring a few extra people may be the push thats needed for this, or as MANY others have said, cut down or eliminate eBay auctions for a few weeks so that things can get caught back up.

Easier said than done, I get it, Pandemic has been an issue a million different ways, but yea, 2 months behind.

Thanks for the post. Seems slightly odd that they would just go that long without putting them through even if it takes a tad more work. With all the horror stories on here about cards put in wrong accounts I've been searching daily. (Not that the two cards are worth a ton, but together it's probably $50)

The first 3 week current I sent in was due 6/17 and (while not closed out) seemed to upload everything on time (and actually earlier than the 17th). I have one currently that was due 8/3 that a few days ago was moved to 20% which means they should start popping.

Seems they are really just pushing to go 3 week guarantee with the late times on 3 week current though.

I'm curious if somebody can answer this about flipping on COMC: if one purchases a card from Dean's on COMC to flip, will it remain in Dean's possession until it is resold? Do Dean's cards that end up being put up for sale again ever migrate up to the Redmond warehouse?

It will automatically transfer to the Redmond warehouse, I believe Dean's mails them on a weekly basis.

I have a couple of times. Usually some oddball cards that they either misidentified or I knew had a larger following. But yeah, generally very difficult.

I still don’t understand how they choose what to upload. I finally had 25 cards get uploaded over 4 days last week. Checking my list of what I sent in, I still have cards from the same sets that didn’t get processed. Seems odd they wouldn’t just do them all at the same time.

I'm getting 1-4 cards added a night for the past week. Sub had 600 in it. At first I was like YEAAAAA stuff is getting listed finally...Now just highly annoyed.

Does anyone know why the "Grading Submissions" page sometimes does not work? If not, does anyone know of a work around for it? I forgot what I submitted for auction.

Also, has anyone had an auction item just stuck? It has made it past the submission area, but it has not been added to the actual auctions.

I had that last week but nothing on the weekend or Monday so it seems to have stopped for now. I had 25 go live which was a start at least.
