Relative to NY, 54% as many cases, but only 14% as many deaths. Nobody comes close to the death rate of NY. Florida has the largest 65+ population in the country and fewer than a third of the deaths of NY. How anyone could consider this to be a bang up job is beyond me.

Has anyone ever asked Cuomo about this? I get that he made a judgment call that he thought was right and missed the mark entirely. Hindsight is 20/20. I’ll assume he had the best of intentions, but he did such a terrible job that NY could’ve paused its death total in mid April and still to this day have more deaths than any other state.

Check out Tina from the BX (Bronx, for all you non-NYers) Twitter bomb drop on the Nursing Home Killer! Not linking it but she's fantastic! Would be awesome to see her tear him a new one in person!

I assume there’s a science behind this style of campaigning... like a study that shows voters are more likely to respond to negative about the other candidate than positive about ones own candidacy. Every candidate goes heavy on the “my opponent sucks” stuff. While that may not resonate with everyone, I assume tens of millions spent on advertising isn’t being wasted on wishful thinking that this strategy works.

Steven Stills playing his anti war/violence song as part of the DNC has people losing their #@#@#@#@, will be the same people that will have no problem with the St. Louis (Bonnie & Clyde) being part of the RNC program.

Some of you get far to wound up in this political #@#@#@#@, it’s time to just admit both parties are #@#@#@#@ed up!!

Michelle, hands down.

It’s not an endorsement of Fauci, but I have no clue what Michelle brings to the table besides being the First Lady. She’s kind of a Kardashian of the political realm. More an influencer than someone of substance.

As always the Democrats just like losing elections. Good God the pandering knows no ends.

I know Republicans like legislating from the minority position. This used to be a hallmark of the party. I'm convinced over the last 4 years the Democrats also like being in this position.

The minority position is the one that is more profitable, so it makes sense. Huge lobbyists to take down whatever the "establishment" is. Plus, if you're fighting the corrupt politicians in charge it makes for an easier reelection as an incumbent as you just couldn't do anything without the power.

Very few in Washington want to govern, because it's easier not to. Pathetic.

I remember when you said you wanted our President to succeed not too long ago; and he goes and broker a peace deal between Jewish and Arab nations ... crickets from you.

Now you complain about this. I think perhaps you should ease off on Donald J. Trump; focus on something else.

Feels to me as if the odds of a Trump re-election have greatly improved from just a few weeks ago. (Feels the important term).

I agree. The more profitable position is the one of grief and the minority. Look at all the grifters on the never Trump republican side that are absolutely making bank right now. It's profitable, it's notable, it gives you status to stand up and rise against power. You begin to wonder whether or not they're sabotaging themselves on purpose for the almighty, capitalist $.

Trump needs to be a leader - so far, nothing.
Moving the embassy in Israel to pander to his base....
He brokers a peace deal - good for him, finally something that (so far) isn't all about him.

Listen, I understand your devote fealty to him and anything said by ANYONE who doesn't have your same devotion is bad ....I get it.

I do want him to succeed - maybe if he did his friggin job - we would have the jobs back, people alive and maybe - JUST maybe I personally would not have been impacted by this virus.

But hey - as Kushner said, 170,000 dead is doing a good job!

If Trump and his administration gives us a plan - I will support him.
Until then - I can not support an administration that is all bluster and smoke and mirrors.

They should really just nix the Donkey and Elephant mascots.

One universal political mascot, the Pander Bear. Red for Republican, Blue for Democrats and maybe Green for Libertarians. All the same, just different colors. That would make for a good universal Political motto too.

The gap has definitely narrowed. Still and uphill battle and I believe it to be out of Trump’s hands at the moment when I feel like he should have this election locked up.

I’ve got tons of beefs with Donald Trump. He’s a mixed bag president. Not the best, not the worst. A Biden/Harris Presidency wouldn’t be the backslide that people think it would be, but it’s also not the direction I want the country to go in and especially not the direction the Democratic Party should be going in.

If the Republicans can elect a President that isn’t a “neocon” (I hate labels), why can’t the Democrats do the same? The DNC is pathetic and has become the party of pandering, much like the Republican Party was up until 2015ish.

Nobody wants to govern, so why do we keep electing these clowns?

You're wasting your time. jg will never give any credit, cry about every word spoken, and cling to MSM as all the sheep do.

You couldn't be further from the truth - but that's ok.

So - me opposed to a wanna be dictator that ignored science as thousands died, asked for foreign help (in an election) and has a history of being unethical..... makes me a bad person.

If that's the case - I guess I am a bad person

Had Obama or Clinton done this - you and your party would be beside yourself screaming and yelling about this political stunt.

But since Trump did it - it's perfectly OK - just like anything else he does.
