I also like stage 1 Ripken much better. Wish he had stuck with the original on Ripken and Mattingly.

I am in the minority on his Williams. I love that card!

Correct or incorrect is a matter of preference and POV here.

Sorry to hear his baseball was disappointing. The desire for literal baseball art escapes me, so I haven’t been tempted.

As an owner of several really over-the-top vehicles, I can say he's not exactly bragging with the prius photo, just admitting that all his garage cars are completely impracticable so the prius-he-hasn't-bothered-to-sell-yet makes way more sense to drive to the grocery store or bar-b-que.

It gets embarrassing to always be rolling around in head-turning supercars ha ha.

I suffer the same affliction (to a significantly lesser extent).

Sorry for taking us off-topic again. ha ha

Nah, I dig. I like the tangents. BB is super interesting to me; some of the stuff he does/puts out makes me roll my eyes, but he always come out at some point in the day with some real family talk that makes nod my head in approval and smile. I find him oddly fascinating.

I know it doesn’t to you, and I appreciate that. I see him when I look at the card.

I'm sure not, but maybe the delta between his expectations of his take from this set and the reality justified the purchase. Doubt it's fun to drive around on the streets anyway. Honestly not jealous, just observing. Carry on. Jk5 v Jk5, who ya got? Henderson for me.
Not only a McLaren but a Mclaren Senna. Looks like the one that recently was for sale for $999,995. Horrible street car, but an amazing track car

The Ripken set continues. I sighed this morning when I saw that it was one of today's cards (I feel like I just bought a Ripken last week. Maybe I did?). Looking at it again, it's growing on me. The face is bad, the rest is okay, I guess. Pretty busy for such a little space.

I fear I may have already seen the best Ripkens from this set, but I'm holding out hope. Grotesk's could be okay, or Chang's. Not sure what to expect for Shore. I think Fucci, Efdot, and Taylor are my top three Cals thus far.

My fiancee is getting sick of me ordering these so I hope Topps can make it through August without another Ripken.

Hate or love Benjamin, the man certainly is living his best vida....and has been for decades.

And I refuse to kick the bucket until I see TBP rockin' a BBDTC cuban link choker at the Nationals. Preferably with the custom open face P-2-0-2-0 platinum fronts. But that undertaking may be best suited for TV Johnny.
