Dear Platinum Members,

The Blue Jays played a “home” game in Buffalo last night. Welcome to 2020! Bo Bichette hit the first home run for the Blue Jays in their “home” debut. We are going to offer an autographed card of Bo. Here are the cards available:

# to 99
# to 49
# to 25
# to 10
# to 5

Please reply by 2:00pm EST today if you want to reserve a card.

Best Regards,

The Topps NOW team

I believe Topps never announce the price beforehand, even to the Platinum members.
But looking at Luis Robert and Jo Adell base autos being sold for $120 on their debut, I'd assume it will be close to that for Bichette as well.
Maybe slightly lower.

Hi all,

We secured a ball and base from the game. The numbering will not change. It will now be an auto relic now. Please advise only if this CHANGES your order by 2:30pm. If we don’t hear from you, we will process your initial request.

# to 99- base

# to 49- base

# to 25- base

# to 10- base

# to 5- ball

Best,

WOW, congrats Jays fans, very nice.
Will be interesting to see what the jewel will be for the base.
Thanks JJM for the update.

Man. Tough to pass seeing as I have Buffalo ties. But it's gonna be pricey. Not sure.

Yeah, after review...probably a pass. Not even a stadium card and $150 for /99? Topps fail.

A little high, but a unique piece of history I suppose. Kind of surprised there’s no base relic /5’s or baseball /10’s.

I think it's very reasonable for a Topps Now relic auto.

Dig that Bichette card! Totally a Panini angle, but like it.

I like the Aaron Judge card today as we finally have a card that shows the empty seats. (The Trout with the cardboard cutouts was cool too) Been a little frustrated at the picture choices this year that are super close ups trying to hide the empty stadiums. Part of that is on Getty, but there are some images on Getty that paint the whole picture. It’d be cool to accurately document the current situation with some of these cards.

Edit: just saw the backside of the Votto. Like that pic as well.

The Bichette auto relic is the same price as a similar card for Tatis last year. But still could not pull the trigger for this one even with the discount.

I bought the /99

I didn't think that price was high at all.

If he becomes a stud, that will be a cheap gamble.

I was frustrated with the camera angles too.

I asked Jeeves a couple weeks ago and he said there was no rhyme or reason the shots were missing the empty stands or cardboard fans.

Not to go on a rant here, but supposedly it's just what they had access to. So really the photographers must be interns or amateurs and missing ALL the shots relevant to the uniqueness of 2020. Of course I may be wrong and they're pros who need to consider a career change. There has been very little variety of tight shots of players and the field. But one thing for sure, they have MASTERED the art of face shield obstructions.
