Found 1 hanger and 1 blaster at Target.

The card aisle was 95% Pokemon and small toys, only sports left were 2 XFL Blasters and Topps Sticker Collection. I noticed some Excell boxes at the end of the aisle, unclear if an employee ripped them open. I asked when they’d be stocked and if I could see what they have. They showed me what they had, just 1 hanger and 1 blaster, the rest were Optic Baseball Mega Boxes and Prestige Football Gravity Packs. They said they ripped the boxes and can grab whatever I wanted. I took the Chronicles and left the rest for the kids. They thanked me for not going thru the boxes without asking and said their restocks are random.

I’m keeping them sealed for now.

This is crazy I just have no idea how prices are going to sustain! People pulling multiples of Zion in one box all over the place? Singles must be pretty cheap if there is sooo many copies of each!

Prices of paper cards won't sustain. The chrome sets will. The parallels of the chrome sets will really fetch a premium depending on print runs.

Take a look at prices for Chronicles from last year. 2019-20 is still low in comparison, haha.

You might be right. There's a eBay listing from FL & its lacking megs. The photo shows the wm carrier w/ hangers & blasters. So likely WM will have these this week. Target mega exclusives may be the reason they appeared there before wm this time.

I get that but Luka Doncic is the reason for that... Zion/Ja are no where close to Luka Prices right now... that 18/19 class has Luka, Trae Young, SGA, MPJ, JJJ... thats the class to invest in right now... not 19/20

Busted 1 Mega: 4 Zion, 2 Ja (1 of them Teal Zion XR, looks good on the XR IMO).

Small sample size, but load out for me was 25 Foil cards, 5 Chromium.
Chromium : 1 Prizm, 2 Crusade, 1 Flux (Zion), 1 Hometown Heroes
Foil : 9 Essentials, 8 Marquee, 4 Recon, 4 XR

Was pretty fun! A buddy of mine ripped a mega he found, didnt do as well.
I think the fun with Chronicles is just all the subsets, so it feels like a huge grab bag of cards or you are opening multiple different products at once.

Chronicles is super fun because it's only the top players. 80% of the cards you pull are going to be from a roster of roughly 20 guys. For those who have just come back and only ripped boring ass Prizm or Optic where they spend $200 to pull a handful of guys they never heard of, this must be heaven to see big names and action shots instead of Anthony Davis and Kawhi wearing wrong uniforms and Zion making love to a ball. Congrats on finding some, I think I'm going to sell off a bunch of stuff just to overpay for these once they come down a bit, it was one of the more enjoyable rips last year and should be again this year.

Par for the course for every big new release. Go check out the Mosaic thread, especially the first few pages. People trash it mercilessly and now it is “iconic”. Seems to be the same few people as well.

There has been zero sign around my area of Chronicles in Target or Walmart. Heck, Target is void of sports cards almost now except for fat packs of Topps Heritage from 2019. The Pokemon and MTG has moved into what space was available to sports cards. Anyone else seeing this happen? I wonder if they stopped supplying them since someone was opening lots of the products and leaving them there.

Do we know if Chronicles Mega Box is Target exclusive? I have a guy who is offering me them at $210 per box... is that a price you'd buy at? They still seem to be selling on ebay around $250 but we all know prices drop once they flood... but if its target exclusive then it should carry value right?

It is 100% a Target exclusive. I personally would jump on it at $210, as I think these have crazy upside. But sure you will get some dissenting opinions.

No sign out in KY either and I live within 15 min of about 4 different Targets. Hadn’t seen anything for weeks but they all got Prestige last week so has me hoping there’s a chance these might still show up. Possible I’ve missed them though, luckily even though I’m in a big city haven’t seen any sign of campers or anything like that but I literally just take second to glance at the card isle and leave.
