Found this a few months ago. I paid $2.99 but it is pretty cool looking, it is original art but no clue about it.

US 12 Garage Sale is in Michigan next weekend. "Michigans longest garage sale." Has anyone ever gone to one of these? It covers 212 miles and starts near the Indiana border near where I live and goes all the way up to Detroit....I'm thinking about giving it a go.

We have the Hwy 80 sale here twice a year. It usually mainly covered East of Dallas to around Jackson MS or about 400 miles.. The spring sale was cancelled for the most part this year.

127 yard sale starts this Thursday in my area. I wouldn’t miss it in previous years but not sure how it will be this year due to corona.

Nice find for me today at the Goodwill Outlet. Wizard Video VHS tape of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Cost me $1 and should sell for $200+. First time finding a Wizard VHS tape, plus I'm at my parents and they have a VCR so I can test the tape on it as well.

i need to get those blue underground DVDs I found the other day listed. Right now having physical issues, my eyeglass prescription has gotten way out of whack so its hard for to focus on listing much at all.

Have a question about selling gold. Ive collected a small amount over the years of estate sales. Probably about 2 ounces of 14K items. Everything from necklaces, charms to a 14K watch. When selling gold as scrap, for items that have ston es in them, small diamond chips and other small stones, do you remove all of these before weighing to get the gold scrap value? Im planning on selling it all in a lot on ebay. Im guessing for the watch(its not good), Id need to bust out the crystal faceplate and remove the stones set around the face. Or do I just leave all that in and weigh it all as is?

I wouldn't pull the stones out.

Weigh as is.

I would leave it as is. They watch may have value to someone more than scrap even in bad condition. It won't likely hurt the value of the lot. In description I might put the watch weight separate though

Picked up a 1999 US Open Pinehurst leather strap back hat at the local Goodwill Clearance Center last week on 1/2 price day.
Probably had .40 invested in it. Just sold for $45 after a bidding war on ebay.

Totally unexpected, but much appreciated!

Today was the last huge garage sale day of the season. There will still be garage sales but today was really the last city wide nearby. I did decent. Started at 7 and ended at 3. It was around 100 degrees. Here is what I got.

Halo UNSC Master Chief Adult Costume with Helmet and Muscle Suit-$20 (can't find any comps but should do well on it)
Revell 1959 Impala (made in 1985) model New Sealed-$3 (sells for about $25. I have done well with models lately)
Spektrum Drone Controller-$1 (sells for about $35)
OEM Gamecube Controller-$0.50 (hope the USPS doesn't break this one like the last one)
OEM Dreamcast Controller with VMU-$0.50
Xbox 360 Kinect-$3
About 1,000 or so baseball cards, a lot of them are numbered, refractor, inserts-$10 (for me lol. Finally found something for myself)
And my best find of the day
Cricut Easy Press 2 NIB-$25

My mom is eyeing it but she has the smaller version of the Cricut Press so she told me to sell it.

Did anyone hit the 127 yard sale this weekend? I usually do Fri/Sat but this year due to work was only able to go on Thursday. Still hit plenty of sales and picked up some nice stuff. Would love to rent a van and do a week long trip one of these years.

Probably purchased about 150-200 clothing items over the weekend. Glad it was all tax free. Places started putting out jackets this week so it was well stocked with new items. Got a lot of listing to do. Also, found my first Bathing Ape item.

Nice find on the BAPE, I once found a Shark Hoodie but it turned out to be fake. I did find a rare KENZO hoodie once.

Awesome pickup today! I HAVE to play with it before I sell it. I'm off tomorrow so I will spend the day moving furniture out of the kitchen and building it. Inventoried it, its 100% complete and all original. Not bad for $25

^^^^ I love little projects you get to play with and test out before selling it. I've sold quite a few slot tracks and always built them up first to obviously test, but to play with as well. Done that with a tabletop hockey game and a Monday Night Football Stadium as well. It's a nice break from listing and shipping.

Slot car stuff is awesome!!! Cars sell great individually and they’re cheap to ship.

There is a big slot car show by my house. I went once to check out the other diecast and stuff people had. Some people had more money wrapped up in rc cars than I did in working motorcycles. Some of those slot cars are insanely valuable.

I have tons of old track in the garage when I find sets only thing I look for is the cars. Even non working they often bring more money than the track will. There are some cases where the track will decrease the value if you sell it with the cars. You can usually look at a car and see if it is likely working or not. There is also a smell that the cars will have as well as the control when they are burned up and not working.

Yes they are valuable. AFX is one of the best. Carrera is good, Atlas is good, tyco is ok. I’m not aware of any other brands, but they are fun to find.

Yup. I had about 5k into an RC truck, and this was 10 years ago. That thing was amazing though lol.
