I’m not a Harper homer but you are def a Harper hater and that’s fine...speaking of off years how did Judge do last year? And the year prior to his ROY? Oh that’s right he was 26...not sure how Harper is not fun for the game as he def brings out the best and worst of fans and people alike...I mentioned Trout as well but your dwelling on Harper so that tells me you must of loved the bomb he hit today or the 3 in 2 games from Trout? The mere mention of Harper on these boards makes people nuts...to me that says he is good for the game rather negative or positive he is relevant...I hope all these players do well as I’m a fan of baseball and not comparing Judge to Mantle...that’s all...

His age and injuries are a lot to overcome but if the Yankees win a couple World Series titles, he pulls this year's MVP and he hits 400 Home Runs, he'll be a Yankees legend. If he hits 500 Homer Runs....he'll be a HoF...BUT....that's a a lot of "IFs" but all possible.

Agreed 1000% but if Harper plays until 38 or 40 don’t you believe he too will hit 500 bombs and make the HOF? He’s half way there...again, not a Harper Homer or dislike Judge he played in Fresno and I love that about him. I got Harper bashed??? I like all these guys but in a hobby where 98/100 of the new jacks we trade for $1000s of dollars they will not ever come close to being a Pujols let alone Mantle...I had no idea the mere word Harper would start an avalanche...I hope Adell does well and love him or hate him Harper is relevant...do we really not agree on that point?

Thank you, bro. You were the one (along with Judge of course) that got me started dabbling in modern! Thankfully it has stayed only with Judge and a few other favorite current Yanks. I stopped scanning a while ago but may get back to it with so much idle time now. Still tedious scanning tho

It’s not about Harper bashing, it’s about facts. He’s injury prone, he was a whiner who left a team that won a WS without his skill set, and he’s not lived up to the enormous amount of baseball and hobby hype. I know a lot of people want him to do well and that’s fine, but there are several players in the NL that I’d rather have as a part of my team over Harper.
He hit .260 last year and .249 in 2018. Yes he could reach 500 HR at 38-40 but I doubt he lasts that long. Besides that, with the HR binges people are in now I believe 500 HR won’t be the HOF clinching stat in the near future for guys from 2005 and on.
There will be many players with 500 HR the next decade. Take Nelson Cruz, is he a HOF? He could get to 500 the next two and half seasons. He has about the same career avg Harper has, but has only led the league in 2 offensive categories his career. Do we stamp him a HOF because he could hit HR?
Harper could certainly string together 5-6 great seasons but he could also be inconsistent like he has been that same time

Red flag to me is not the auto but how he claims it will get a 10 from BGS.
Easy pass on anyone who is selling a card that they claim will get a 10.... Why does he not send to BGS then and get the 10?? If true then no worries and he can sell for more $$ also.

Judge never signs on a slant either, so its not eve like he lifted a legit Judge auto off of another card.

he wiped the original auto with alcohol, forged a Judge auto and then stuck it on a normal chrome card.
