Someone was selling Efdots McGwire, Mays, and Ryan for $400 shipped in the FB group. It's a firesale there right now if you are looking to pick up cards. Definitely in a dip and a bunch of people are selling at lows.

The Rickey gives me vertigo, like I'm falling out of a helicopter.

But, it's interesting to see how everyone represents Rickey about to unload on a pitch and sprint to 1st. Starting with a front perspective then rotating 90 degrees to the side shot of the original card is one of the better ideas, so far. Although, Rickey spinning around also reminds me of helicopter blades spinning.

Nolan has a lot of fun Naturel details: Mets cursive in Naturel script, 4 random people all the way in the background, seeing how he represents the empty stands. With the shadows, it's a little more... art deco than Naturel's other cards? Makes me want to reach for my copy of Watchmen.

I bought their 120-180 sleeves, they fit for me but are too small for the generic one touches they have been using. I've been putting those in team bags

I need clarity on when Efdot's Griffey came out? McGwire maybe?

My original thought was to collect all of the artist or all of a player. However, some creative thoughts have been given here. I like the idea of collecting one player at a qty of your choice and whatever artists you choose duplicate that with another player. Or switch it up and take 2 artists you like and grab X amount of the same players to display together.

To make it clear, I am saying 5 Mays with 5 Robinson from the same 5 artists would be cool. 5 Ermsy and 5 Naturel of the same 5 players would be a fun display.

The options are endless really. I continue to use the concept of display as this is art, and it really doesn't make sense to collect these to just keep them in a box.

Thiele's Rickey is an improvement on his Williams card.

Not sure if I'll get it or not, but considering it for sure.

Yeah my Griffey definitely hasn't come out yet because I haven't finished it yet 😂 Hopefully soon.

My George Brett is set to this Thursday with Ben Baller's McGwire.

Naturel's Ryan is fantastic. Ugh, I'm really going to have to dish out for his Jackie now.

It would be cool to get PRs for Friday's cards at some point.

Still no print runs for Friday's cards...

But in fun news, we know 5 of this weeks cards, so we can more closely guess the other 5!

We know:
Thiele Henderson
Naturel Ryan
Efdot Brett
Baller McGwire
Blake Williams

So we're mostly likely to have the other five artists be:
Vides
Ermsy
JK5
Grotesk
Siff

Two of the five players we know are dropping weren't in the 10 due, so we have 7 that are still due:
Gibson
Mays
Trout
Mattingly
Jeter
Ripken
Thomas

We're almost certain to get a Vides Gibson since they're the most due player and artist, unless we get one of the artists due early next week (Taylor, Fucci, Cartoon). Trout is most likely to be Vides, Grotesk, or Siff, but could also be Taylor or Cartoon.

You and me both. People are selling them, but they're spendy.

Vides Gibson seems like the worst possible card for his style. Hopefully we get it out of the way this week.

Do we think Vides will go dots or lines behind Gibson's head?

Yeah, it's one of the few cards going up with everything else dipping. A story of my Project 2020 collection fill-in life.

Disagree. The light pink should allow the accents to show well.

Mays 52 was just too dark.

Agree on the colors, but he doesn't have enough room to work with. The card has too much face + text and too little to accent.

I'm imagining accenting around the neckline, lines + clouds drawn in the sky similar to his Doc Gooden, some dots on the pink border.

What would Vides be touching in the pink that would really show well or highlight anything?

The background inside the pink background and around Bob, and the colors of the uniform, should be of good use and provide sufficient contrast, but I'm not sure how much Vides will be Vides-ing the pink area.
